After reading the reviews I thought that this is the right salon to go to. To be honest, Patrice was nice. BUT my eyes were burning and they turn red, but it was my mistake, I should have asked what products she was using!! Then Patrice told me not to wash my eyes for 24 hours, after 23 hours, my eyes were hurting me and they turned red, my eyelashes were messed up and spiky, So I had to wash them! I thought after washing they will be less spiky but they looked so bad and I looked like I don't have lashes. Then the headache started, I had to take pills. And It wasn't allergy because it was only one eye that got red and hurt. I contacted Patrice but she refused to give me a refund or to fix it.

The first person to actually do my lashes was Nora, see I have a lot of lashes but they are what in the lash world are called giraffe lashes which are very thick lashes that no matter what kind of mascara you wear they will just stay down and will not have that beautiful pop-up look. My first visit with Nora many years ago she did a test lash on me first, to make sure I was not going to have allergies to any of the glue which I thought was pretty amazing of her. The way she did my lashes were so naturally beautiful I couldn't ask for anything better I was so pleased that at the time I was driving almost an hour to get my lashes done by her before she moved to Farmington. She is so personable and such a down-to-earth woman you cannot go wrong with Nora she is so professional at what she does and will not stop until you get the look that you went there for. She is also incredibly honest she will let you know what is best for you and what kind of lashes will work best for you she only uses the best lashes but you also let you know if a lash lift is better for you and if volume lashes are better for you, it all depends on the look you're going for . Myself personally I wanted a little more pop Than A Lash lift but not as dramatic as volume lashes although they do look beautiful when you're going to a special occasion but with me being a working mom of two I wanted the most natural look but uet still that thick beautiful pop,and Nora gave me that to me every single time and she still does until this day. When I moved to Long Island I wasn't able to come to Nora because obviously the distance so I did try a few other Lash artists and I have to say none of them made me as happy as Nora did. So believe me one of the first stops I made when I was settled back into Connecticut was Nora Lash she definitely has me as a lifetime customer another amazing thing about Nora is you aren't just a client to her she does things to work around your schedule and is there to talk to you she becomes a friend and I'm so happy to have Nora and continue to go to Nora. Had to get them professionally removed cuz by the next day I couldn't even open my eyes that's how bad they hurt to blink. the new lash tech told me these ppl had used what they call "cluster" lashes which are square base, there was so much black cement glue attached to my lid that it ripped my natural lashes off. When you have to lay completely still for almost two hours that is not ideal. My technician seemed inexperienced. She spent way more time on one eye than the other and my lashes were lopsided as a result. She pinched my eyelids several times. Afterward my eyes were super irritated. I could feel the extensions for weeks afterward instead of them being seamless. Overall a pretty unpleasant experience. Wouldn't go back.
