Predatory dealership. Sells lemons to desperate people. Have them enter into contracts with terms that they cannot meet. Refuses to fix existing mechanical issues. Not a real service department. No one there can fix anything. Charges nearly $5,000 over the blue book value. Customer service was non-existent after the sale. They've been sued multiple times and recently had to pay a $1.5 million dollar judgment to MA for its predatory practices. read more

Bought my daughter's car in February here and the motor blew last week in May. Still under warranty because she doesn't drive much. Had a very nasty man call me and tell me oh it's your daughter's fault this n that!!! She hasn't even put 4000 miles on the car!!! There are so many other places you are better off buying from. My car started having issues just within one week of having it. My brother and friend got one for them and same thing ! If I could leave 0 stars I would trust me! First off, all of their cars are horrible! Just look at other reviews. They'll continue to bring the car in to be "fixed" just for them to mess it up even more. I had my car for 6 months & within that time frame literally had to bring it back 4-5 times to be fixed! Within the first two months the car had to be fixed & I had to come out of pocket. Brakes & rotors both worn out twice! In the past week I had to bring my car in because the engine light came on. They so called fixed it just for hours later for it to shut off again. I explained to them I was going to make a payment & when I went to go pick up my car today, they refused to give it to me for late payment. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!! Rey is rude as hell. He doesn't care about your situation. The other Spanish lady in the front with the long hair tried to call the cops on us all because we asked to get our stuff out the car. Because we will not be returning for it. Jamie laughed in my face & told me he didn't have to give me any of belongings in the car technically which I found odd. I met with the sales person and she was very friendly, no pressure just gave me the keys to the cars I wanted to test and I left in about 2 hours with my new car. Their customer service was horrible. Had my car in a hit and run and they took 3 weeks to get back to me. My coverage is through them and were willing to give me a loaner car that smelled like pure cigarettes. Also, the check engine light was on so they were willing to put me in an unsafe car and that was my only option. I pay 440 dollars a month and that's not including liability for that kind of service. I do not recommend anyone to finance through this company. read more

they took my car with all my children belongings in it i only missed one payment due to the fact that my wife died a month ago giving birth to our son. my father is dying of cancer with only 3 months left to live i came down to my mom who doesn't live in the same state as me so i went to her for a month to help her make funeral arrangements for my father and the cnac manager at the meriden ct jd byrider is very rude very unprofessional very very disrespectful told me to f off that i was running with my car to another state even though i explained to them that i would be out of state and one payment behind because my wife died and my father needs me so i was going to visit for a month tops so one my children can spend as much tone with their grandfather as much as possible since i had to take an fmla from my employer i wasnt getting paid and the money i did have i had to use for my children i had called ahead of time to meriden ct jd byrider and they all stated it wouldnt be a oroblem and we arranged payments but the dickhead manager goes and repos my car for one missed payment which he just stated he understood he then went repo my car i call he yells has a tantrum says a few f words tells me to go to hell and that im a bad parent for leaving my kids carseats their bookbag with diapers wipes snacks bottles baby formula and clothing he told me my wife dying and my father dying of cancer wasnt his f-ing problem and that he didnt care that i was running away with rhe car but if its oh so true then why did i call them and report to them that i would be out of state for my fathers hospice transfer and funeral arrangements and why did he then tell me everything was ok because he understands i hope and pray that the manager of meriden jd byrider doesnt have a father or children because hes a dick hes the ruthless untrustworthy sales person only thinks of you as a bank i would never ever recommend this location ever and thanks to that dick head myself and my children are stranded in this state with no vehicle to go back home that manager is to ghetto to be talking to customers or dealing with customers at all. they need a new mama this location sucks all the way around and thats why the bbb gave it a f lol they deserve to be shut down read more

Horrible customer service. Won't help me get out of the piece of junk they sold me, the car has so many electrical issues amongst other problems and they just keep transferring me to their service department where noone answers or returns calls or making promises someone will call me back to help and never does, yet they faithfully take their payment first thing every morning it is due they don't forget that.
