I really like the concept of this store which has fun and easy to wear casual and dressy clothes. Since it's an outlet, the prices are better than the regular store and you still get the small 5% passport discount. Here is what I like about this store: - The clothes are largely displayed by color and in vignettes that will have coordinating pants, crops, tees, blouses, cardigans and jackets. I feel this organization makes it easy to buy pieces that can be mixed and matched with each other to maximize wardrobe options. - Most of the clothes can be washed and dried. Some items are specifically made to not wrinkle. There are some dressier items that require dry cleaning but their few and far between. - Even though Chico's is owned by White House/Black Market, you might not know it based on the fun colors throughout the store. Since they always have a variety of color schemes it is easy to find something in your favorite color. - The basics like tees and tanks make great layering pieces. - They have fun jewelry. - The sales staff is very engaging and helpful.

They also have some fun accessories. Often it seems like everything is 40% but even without the sale, the BR Factory store is much less expensive than the "real" Banana Republic. As most people are aware, outlets are typically not seconds or past season items anymore - rather they are items specifically manufactured for outlets and that is what you'll find here. For example, that $110 silk blouse you saw at the Banana Republic store in Annapolis will be at the outlet for $60 (plus 40% off) but be made of polyester instead. The blouse will still be stylish and fun but it won't be as decadent.

Tried to exchange items received as a gift for a correct size or get store credit. Since it was purchased online this for whatever reason, complicated matters, even though the exact shirt in my size was in stock. The morale of the employees seems low. I was met with a heavy sigh of frustration just walking to the register. Me: Can I exchange this for my size? Levi's clerk: "NO" Me: Can I get store credit? This was a gift, please? It seems odd buying new jeans with rips. I can cut my old jeans if I want rips in them. It was much more practical buying two pairs of jeans instead of one. The markdown didn't apply to one pair. The sales staff were friendly.
