Fast forward a few decades and I feel like the fashions at the Gap are very simple, basic and sometimes monochromatic. For these reasons, I gave up on the Gap, including the outlet, years ago. While I did see a few cute items on my recent visit, a majority of the clothes seemed to be the same boring garments they've been selling for years - denim skirts, loose fitting cotton dresses, solid t-shirts, khaki casual jackets and ripped jeans. On the upside, the store was organized and the employees seemed more engaged than some of the other stores in the outlet center.

Overall, the store is very attractive and any time I've been in its been well organized. There is a wide variety of items here from screen print tees to dresses for date night. Some clothing, especially for men, borders on hipster. The outlet is definitely less expensive than the regular, full price store but I didn't feel like I got any bargains here. For example, the shirt I purchased was $52. A similar shirt at the Banana Republic Outlet would probably cost me about $40. You can also shop the outlet online now.
