For some reason my teenage brother found the name funny. #Jcool only opened Monday this week, hence the limited menu, although the place looks promising. For one, the prices aren't really bad. They're perfect for students who want a little refreshment while walking on their way home. The tamarind juice I ordered only cost me Php 25, and they have this scramble shake that costs Php 49. One of their selling point is the fact that you can customize your waffle. For example, you get to choose what type of batter you want. They have this buttermilk waffle and their house blend called #Jcool Waffle. The former only costs Php 25.00 and the toppings vary from Php 5 to Php 25, which is the most expensive one. And that's chicken fillet, by the way. It only costs Php 10 more to have a tiny dollop of nutella to your waffle and I don't find that bad at all. The juice, by the way, is blended nicely. Although the lady kinda blacked out and served me a tamarind shake at first. Thankfully the other shopkeeper offered to make me a new one, an actual juice ftw. So yes, the staff is very nice and the prices are very pocket-friendly. I see myself going back here. read more
