I highly recommend JC fence. We had Jon come out to our house to give us an estimate on removing our old fence and putting up a new one around our pool. after removing our old fence, they did an absolutely amazing job on our new pool fence. Highly recommended! Finally, service and product that is exactly what you ask for. Everything from estimate to installation was done well. John and Zach did a great job in the 90+ degree heat. They were respectful, courteous, and paid attention to details (plumb lines, level surfaces, proper fit and placement). We had initially received an estimate from Reliable Fence but found them not to be very accommodating or apparently interested in our small job. This is a mix review. We had JC Fence come out and quote us a price to put up a fence around our deck. They came out and quoted and it went great. We asked them should we put our fence up or replace the deck first, we were told to do the deck first. Once our deck was completed we schedule the work to be completed. The person that came out said the fence won't be even, because we had the stairs on the deck in the center and what they brought with them had the gate more to one side. Instead of saying lets requite this, they did the work. I wasn't happy with the work at all. There were large gaps between the fence and the ground, enough where a coyote could dig its way and hurt my dog who may be on the deck. I told JC Fence I wasn't happy, their solution was to come out and put a board on the bottom of the deck. I still wasn't happy, they came back out and put a larger board on the fence. I asked someone to come out and tell me why this deck could be completed correctly, I was told it was the fact we had the deck done and the stairs were in the middle and not on the left side. I am sadden to say, I will most likely hire a company next spring to fix their error. When I went to pay the final bill I told them this and they did say that their process is now if the quote is different they what the work needs to be completed, they will re-quote the job. That is great, but not for this dissatisfied company. I wouldn't mind but they have done many fences in our complex, very disappointed that I have an eye sore of a fence. Just had had our back yard fenced in by J C Fence. They had given us a scheduled date in May for the job, but called on Wed, 4/17/2019 and said that they could start right now. An hour later CJ and Marko showed up, unloaded material and started setting post. Came back the next day and did more work. They hit a concrete/rock anchor for a flag pole that was buried. They unearthed it and continued on. Pretty smooth digging, except for some tree roots, and finished today, Fri 4/19/2019. 22 6 x 8 vinyl panels, 1 6 x 4 gate, 1 6 x 10 double gate. Looks great and will keep the grandsons in a safe area. By the way, the J C Fence estimate beat both Home Depot and Lowe's by quite a bit. This review is outdated, but since I finally got a yelp account I found it necessary to review JC Fence for the awesome work they've done at my mothers house. She has two dogs and a fence'd in yard which is 15-20 years old. In April a large branch fell on the fence leaving a big hole for our small dogs to escape from. I gave JC a call and spoke to their owner. I knew this was their busy season so my first question is how many weeks are you guys booked out? The owner told me it was looking like 3-4 weeks. This was not going to work for me. I told him my situation and the fact that this was for my mother, and with out the fence she would have to take the dogs out in the back yard on a leash, which is just a pain for an older woman to do multiple times a day. He heard me out and said he would see what he can do but that it might be tough, but he'll try. He called me back two hours later and told me he moved some things around and will get a crew out there by Friday. The fence broke on a Sunday, I called them on Monday. I told my mother that she would have to deal with the dogs until Friday but JC Fence said they will have someone out by the end of the week and not to be alarmed if she sees a work crew in the back yard. I was shocked when my mother called me on Wednesday to say that she got home from work and her fence was fixed. I called JC to thank them and let them know how much I appreciated the work. They also had the crew walk the yard and tighten any loose fence posts and just do overall touch up work (which I did not ask for at all). I was just happy that the hole was fixed. I guess that's the difference between a family owned business and a lot of these fly by night companies, I wasn't treated as a customer or as a sale. I was a guy trying to help his mother and they're the type of company who understands the importance of family. I can't say enough good things. Thanks again guys! read more
