We wandered over from Aspen Grove RV Park. Well we were lured in by the smell of the outdoor - perfectly placed smoker. Who needs advertising when you do that. We both agree that the 3 meats we had were phenomenal. Rich seasoning and perfection on the smoke. We had the pulled pork, jalapeño sausage and rib tips. There was nothing left. The coleslaw was light and fresh. The beans were thick with a nice bit of spice. Just enough. My husband the Mac n Cheese connoisseur was kind of meh on that. Throw in 57! All I had was burnt ends and mac and cheese, barely "burnt" and they have no sauce options. Just their sauce made with "Mountain Dew". Not great in my humble opion. Wouldn't recommend. They recommend jalapeños with it. I got them on the side, thinking they were special and would give them a try. No. Just regular raw jalapeños. The food came out really fast. Mac and cheese was dry and wasn't a hit with anyone including the kids. Turkey was dry. Pulled pork was better. The flavors just didn't blend well and quite bland with very over powering sauces that didn't blend well either. Peach cobbler was nutmeg or ground cinnamon over powered. Very cute spot with lots of old root beer glass bottle options. Unfortunately I wouldn't come again, but not terrible for options around the area. The people here were great. WOW....... this place is over the top good !!! As we travel the states, we look for BBQ places that we can taste smoked meats and then, if we like it, buy a pound for the road. Not everyplace we find is good.... JB - Brians's Southern BBQ was a great find !!! We are staying in the Aspen Grove RV Resort behind them... walked over to investigate the BBQ and sooooooo glad we did. Stepping into the small restaurant, one side is a section selling rustic gifts and another area to sell their bottled sauces. Step up to the counter, order what you want ... they do have inside & outside eating area to enjoy any meal you order. We asked for a small sample of brisket, pulled pork & smoked sausage.... Owner, April Smith happily let us taste each one of them. What a delightful lady... full of personality. After our tasting...... my husband & I just stopped and whispered to each other...... OMG... it's moist, tender, flavorful and delicious !! We ordered 1 pound each of brisket & pork. I already had some smoked sausage and as delicious as it was..... we didn't need anymore in our freezer. We went back to Camp, grabbed a beer and enjoyed an afternoon appetizer. Hard to think of any notes that aren't positive! Had the brisket sandwich and potato salad. Stopped in for lunch during a work trip on the recommendation of a coworker. The atmosphere is comfy small town, eating on the patio in the sun is relaxing. I just arrived in Tremonton this afternoon ~ saw J Brian's Smokehouse next to the Aspen Grove RV Park (we are staying here)...... Grab the menu out of the check-in office and looked it over. Decided that oh that'll be an easy dinner so I went there. First I waited for a bit; after the customer in front of me was finished ordering ~ the Girl asked me to wait (more waiting) She finally took my order after 8 - 10 mins. waiting. Do Not order the "smoked" Mac & Cheese ~ they should call it salty mac & cheese. It was so incredibly salty and extremely dry! The pulled pork sandwich. The pork was luke warm ~ barely.... The girl told me that each sandwich gets a bag of lays potato chips. Well, there was only one bag of chips in one order, and the other box had the extremely salty, barely little bit of their mac & cheese & No Chios! I was in the mood for BBQ and J Brian's did not leave me dissatisfied! Prices were pretty fair compared to other BBQ places! The portions were as I expected and left all of us (3 adults and 3 kids) feeling full of delicious food! We came by on a slower day, for 5 full meals of food we weren't there too long at all! But if you're in a rush- hop online and order that way if you want it ready when you arrive! They have a really cute gift shop with bbq supplies and home decor which was a fun touch! If they have the pumpkin cake, get a slice, but also, leave one for me. read more

This place is unbelievably good. I'm a big time snob when it comes to bbq. I can't believe it's this good with no competition around to raise the bar. O...M...G..... We are driving from Mesa, AZ to Newport, WA in our RV. Staying at the Aspen Grove RV Park in Tremonton, UT where the J. Brian's Station BBQ restaurant is planted on the highway. Ordered 1/2 lb of brisket , 1/2 lb. pulled pork, small portion of each of their 4 sides: baked beans, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, and potato salad, 2 rolls, various sauces, one serving each of apple crisp and peach cobbler. So freaking good....the meat was oh so tender, the sides were amazing (except the potato salad was swimming in mayo), the rolls were perfect and the desserts were both like grandma made them. read more

I looked this place up since I was driving through town and I have to say it was amazing. I got the brisket and pulled pork and it was by far the best I have had. Moist and flavorful. They give you the sauce on the side which you don't need at all. I'm always a little hesitant to order food through a delivery service, especially BBQ, and this did not disappoint. I do want to give a 5 star kudo to Sarah, who delivered my order to the hotel. I was a little late getting down to meet her but she greeted me with a smile and a thank you. All in all this is a must stop when you are driving through Tremonton for sure! read more

The meat was amazing. beautifully smoked, tender and flavorful. We had the brisket and the ribs. the Virginia beans were also very good. Smokey sweet and a touch of spice. the smoked Mac and cheese had good flavor but I prefer a little bit creamier although she told me it was on the drier side when I ordered. It was still tasty. i wasn't a fan of the bread used on the brisket sandwich but the meat made it worth it. I hoped they opened earlier in the day as I would have definitely gotten meat by the pound before leaving the area which we had to before they opened Absolutely would eat here again. read more

We are driving from Denver to Washington State. After having fast food for the past few days, it was wonderful to eat at this bbq restaurant. I had the pulled pork sandwich. My husband had the briscut. Both were delicious. We shared potato salad, mac, bbq beans and coleslaw. All were amazing. Amazing brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends! We found this brick and mortar spot on yelp. And it did not disappoint. We are on a road trip from Southern California to Idaho Oregon then back down to California. The brisket was tender and amazing. The pulled pork was yummy.
