I ordered a couch from a company that uses JB Hunt final mile services. I scheduled delivery and took the day off of work to wait for them to arrive. The morning of the delivery-only three hours before my delivery window-they called to say that they had "staffing issues" and would have to reschedule. I was not happy as I am a teacher, and I used a day to wait at home. I rescheduled. Then I was informed that they were going to charge storage fees for my furniture. I was not informed of these storage fees until after they called to reschedule. It was not my error that caused the problem, and yet they want to charge me storage fees because they failed to deliver as promised. I would give them zero stars, if possible. Twice recently I bought appliances from Lowe's who utilize JB Hunt for their delivery. Twice I experienced lazy and incompetent service. Installation was to be included, and the refrigerator delivery person couldn't be bothered to level the fridge, or movie it into place. I had to do it myself. Today I had a washer delivered, and they claimed they couldn't install it because they couldn't get the hose off. They would not even put the washer in its place. I had to put it in place myself, and was able to hook it up. Terrible service from JB Hunt, and by extension, Lowe's. Congratulations, you've lost a customer for Lowe's. read more

JB hunt is outsourced by Home Depot and they delivered and "installed" my dishwasher Tuesday March 23. Here are image of my first time running it. I paid for professional installation and new hoses. There is an extreme amount of damage to my one year old res oak floors. My subfloor is damage and there is sitting water in my AC duct work. The hose or drain was not properly connected. I would tell you the problem but the fastest I can get them to fix is 6 days after I reported a flood caused for their negligence. My floors are warped, damage to my home and I have no dishwasher. Terrible experience for paying 200 extra for the install. Owner. I see you reply with "call us". I hope you contact me directly on here so I don't have to go through the pain of a customer service escalation. I did nothing wrong. Paid for a dishwasher. HD assigned to you. 1000 dollars later I have no dishwasher and need new hardwood flooring. Avoid this company and any homedepot install as you might get them. read more

JB Hunt, not sure if he's related to Mike Hunt. Hunt trucks have been my friend on the highways many times and I haven't had any bad run-ins with them like I have with some of the other companies. You see a lot of them up and down the interstates and they're pretty well-trained as far as I can tell. Good marks for them for sure. read more

Peloton utilize JB Hunt for their delivery and parts replacements. I paid over $200 to have my Peloton Tread dissembled and reassembled, during the process my tread was damaged and is no longer working. I've dealt with them for a month and my tread is still not working. My appointment for March 1, 2024 for a tread base swap was canceled at the last minute. Their excuse for canceling my appointment was that their trucks were vandalized overnight. This is unacceptable. They did not provide any solutions to the problem. This company and it's workers are unprofessional. They damaged my tread and a wall in my home. Please consider using another company. read more

Terrible communications and protocols. Our item was delivered without the right number of folks to bring it into our home. The facility manager assured us we'd get the item redelivered the same week with the right number of people. As the week drew to a close, we did not receive a follow up communication. When we called them, we learned our furniture was damaged on the return to the facility. If we want the item, it will take another 3-5 weeks to get it from the retailer and have it delivered. What is surprising is that the item was 600lbs so two people should not have been expected to deliver it. This was a waste of time, money and avoidable had the facility properly brought the right manpower to begin with. read more

Great save for JB Hunt! Mauricio reached out to me yesterday afternoon to schedule a delivery for today as this was the original date I scheduled for. I wasn't a fan of delaying the item for a week as my week was packed already so I'm very glad they put me back on the schedule. The delivery was quick, about 10 minutes start to finish and they set up everything and left so I was very happy with how smooth it went. I ordered a refrigerator through Home Depot, to be delivered by JB Hunt. They showed up 3 times and refused to drop off my item, giving a different excuse each time (some that contradicted other excuses). I called after the 2nd mishap, and the representative was apathetic and even cancelled my order without my permission, forcing me to go back to Home Depot and buy an entirely new fridge, pick it up myself, negotiate a discount with Home Depot, and pay for movers to come to my house and do the job they were supposed to do. I'm a business owner and it's obvious that this company has tremendous procedural issues and communication gaps, starting at the driver level. read more

Said it was due to staffing. Rescheduled for Dec 18 8-5 PM. No show. Waited all day. Called Peleton now they say Dec 28. After Christmas. J.B. Hunt is the final mile service used by Article to deliver my couch. If I had known the delivery would be such a nightmare I would have purchased a couch elsewhere. Long story short, communication is horrendous and they don't honor the quoted delivery windows. After taking time off from work to sit and wait for the delivery, you can imagine my frustration when I called customer service to inquire about delivery and not only could they not find my order but they also could not get in touch with the delivery person or the warehouse. Finally when we finally got an update they said delivery had been attempted but no one was home....reschedule delivery, another day of missed work and another missed delivery window..... seriously. By some miracle the couch was eventually delivered but not after multiple calls, emails, and live chats with customer service. I don't understand how something as basic as communication could be so challenging. read more

Frankly, I was very surprised at the other negative reviews about this service. I had a great experience with them delivering a package from Article. I was sent a text to schedule my time window about a week ago. I selected today (Monday) between 8-12 noon. I received a reminder email, and this AM I got a call from one of the gentlemen to let me know they were on the way at 8:41AM. They arrived shortly thereafter, were very polite and carried my (heavy!) item to the room I'd requested. I would leave 0 stars if I could. They were used as a transport for a local Ethan Allen furniture store for our neighbor. They decided to use our drive way as a turn around and destroyed our property.JB hunt is now telling us it's hearsay and they refuse to pay for damages despite multiple people seeing their driver do the act in question. Awful! Our shipment was suppose to be here last Monday/Tuesday- didn't come no call no rescheduling info. Called customer service and they stated they didn't know what was going on and had to call the trucking company in Omaha. Shipment was rescheduled for this Monday/Tuesday - Didn't show up again. (Welcome to 4 days off waiting for couches?!) NOW they say Friday......so with 5 days invested in this and NO calls from the company about rescheduling, we'll say I have my doubts about getting anything at this point. Update: The company was able to contact the delivery driver the same day this incident happened and have our fridge delivered later in the afternoon. I appreciate all the people who assisted me with the issue, so I'm updating my rating, but I do hope that this company provides additional training regarding customer service for the people handling the delivery. I would give zero stars if I could because my experience today was absolutely horrific. Our fridge that we've been waiting months for was supposed to be delivered today. They called my husband who was at work this morning to let him know they were outside. My husband called me to let me know as I was home and when I opened the door, both delivery guys were outside about four steps from my front door, apparently reloading my fridge back into their delivery truck and saying I had to reschedule when all they needed to do was bring the fridge back down and deliver it. I called Home Depot and they said that they spoke to your "leadership team" about the issue and that the delivery people said they were already in the truck when I came outside. This is an absolute lie and I have video footage to prove it. I was also told there was no way they could turn back around to deliver the fridge today that we've already paid for and have been waiting months for. We've been living without a fridge for months and the way I've been treated is completely unacceptable. The earliest delivery date I was offered for the reschedule was on the weekend and I expect an earlier delivery date since this was your company's fault. Your company needs to make this right instead of claiming that I lied about what happened and refusing to come up with a viable solution. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a company and I don't typically write negative reviews, but the lack of empathy and the way I have been treated by your company is disrespectful and unprofessional and I have to let other people know about it so that they don't find themselves in the same situation as me. read more

I was ran off the road by one of your companies transporting one of your JB Hunt trailers. When I called to make a report I was transferred 5 different times before finally being transferred to the right person . Then from safety I was told that they may or may not be able to find the truck . We bought a dishwasher from Home Depot which was delivered by JB Hunt. the dishwasher was not level when installed (simple as adjusting the legs) and the hose was not properly attached to the drain so it was leaking. The guy installing it at one point was asking for a flathead screwdriver, which apparently they didn't have, so they decided to just attach it but not tighten the fastening... all round they clearly just couldn't be bothered - terrible customer service. when you pay $139 for hooking up a basic electrical connection, water supply and drain hose you expect it to be done right!!! Home depot refunded 50% of the install fee, so good job Home Depot, but please think twice before having this company install anything for you. read more

There should be the option to give no stars at all. I ordered a Peloton bike a month ago. Unfortunately, Peloton uses JB Hunt to deliver in WA. JB Hunt has scheduled my delivery twice now and canceled my delivery within the delivery window both times. I live on an island, which they cannot deliver to, so I drive 7hrs round trip and pay for a ferry to go pick up my bike from the scheduled delivery location. I contacted Peloton again regarding the ongoing issue of canceled deliveries. The Peloton rep reached out to JB Hunt who told her that the reason that my orders keep getting canceled is because my delivery is considered a distance delivery and they deliver to the nearest locations to their warehouse first, even if the orders come in after mine. JB Hunt also confirmed that they have had inventory at the time of scheduling but they have delivered my bikes to customers that live closer. Will I ever receive my bike? I am so disappointed and frustrated. read more

We had flooring from Lowe's picked up from our home. The driver was not paying attention and scuffed up our walls on the stairs with his boots. He then dropped one of the flooring pieces which took a chunk out of our wall. The driver took photos and contacted his supervisor and told me they would contact us. Nothing. According to Lowe's Mike from J.B. Hunt should be calling us, no repose. If you see their truck pull up, don't let them in. read more

The company had a delivery scheduled for a $2000 bed today between 2 and 6 pm today. They never showed up and never called to update me on any scheduling changes. Because they had called me to confirm they were delivering a week ago, I hired someone to take away my old bed. Now I have neither bed and no communication from this company. I don't understand why luxury brands would hire this bargain basement shipping company. EDIT: the bed showed up 3 hours after the window closed.
