No one answers the phone number left on the note, no one answers the door when I shout, no one answers when I pounded on the door. After about 15 minutes, finally figured out the phone number to call and was able to get my dog. On the care side, they had washed him for free. He seemed happy and had been cared for. I originally gave Dirty Dog 1 star, but I have decided to change it to three stars. I give the folks who care for dogs 4.5 stars, I give the owner 1 star for his business practices. It a good place to leave your dog for a day, but I would not leave them there for a week or so. To much uncertainty.

I've had a few people tell me Sean is somewhat bossy, I disagree. He takes his job seriously and the safety of the dogs and people he is working with is a priority. He's there to help folks work with their dogs. He is kind and serious with the dogs and it's clear he enjoys being around them and watching the dogs have fun. Unfortunately, my recent experience with front office policies and interactions has led me to transfer my pets to another veterinary hospital in Willits. While many of the reception staff are friendly and helpful, I encountered communication that felt inflexible and lacking in empathy, particularly regarding appointment policies. I understand that clinics need policies in place, but long-term clients also value being treated with a degree of understanding and respect. It's disappointing to leave after so many years, especially because the veterinarians provide such good care. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the quality of veterinary care deserves to be matched by the overall client experience.
