I recently had the misfortune of hiring J&W Construction for a home renovation project, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The entire experience was like a rollercoaster of disappointment and frustration.
First of all, their communication was abysmal. I would call and leave messages, but it seemed like my calls were disappearing into a black hole. I had to constantly chase them down just to get basic updates on the progress of the project. It felt like they were intentionally avoiding me.
When they finally did show up to work, it was clear that their team lacked any semblance of skill or professionalism. The workers were constantly late, and when they did decide to grace us with their presence, they spent more time taking smoke breaks than actually working. It was as if they had never picked up a hammer in their lives.
The quality of the work was equally horrifying. Crooked walls, uneven flooring, and shoddy paint jobs were just the tip of the iceberg. It was as if they were trying to set a world record for the most construction mistakes in a single project. I could have done a better job blindfolded and with one hand tied behind my back.
And let's not even talk about the mess they left behind. Construction debris, discarded materials, and half-empty soda cans littered my property like a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It was clear that they had zero respect for my home or my belongings.
To top it all off, their pricing was exorbitant for the abysmal quality of work they provided. It was like paying a Michelin-star restaurant price for a microwave dinner from the dollar store.
In short, if you enjoy throwing your money away, being ignored, and living in a construction nightmare, then by all means, hire J&W Construction. But if you have even an ounce of common sense, stay as far away from them as humanly possible. read more
