My roof was damaged from a tree falling on it and I had another company do the emergency dry in…read more That company never followed through with assessing the roof and kept asking for the estimate from the adjuster and was playing games. My property manager recommend Andrew Johnson and he was very responsible. I didn't like the idea of giving the adjuster estimates to the companies but this one did not go much over the estimate. I found them to be responsive and they never kept me waiting around like the other company did. Andrew's presentation was brief and he understood what I needed done. He was also nice enough to mention the military rebate and I appreciate this company's support of serving members. It was also pleasant dealing with the office manager, Kendall Favor. She was nice and provided the documents.

I made the mistake of trusting United Contracting and Roofing LLC when they convinced me to file a…read morewind/hail damage claim on my roof. Instead of acting like professionals, they pushed me into filing an insurance claim that had NO CHANCE of getting approved--all because they wanted a quick sale. HOW THEY SCAMMED ME: 1 They ignored my request to check an engineering report before filing my claim. I had a 2022 engineering report that showed mechanical creasing and blistering, NOT storm damage. Any legitimate roofer would have known this meant the claim was invalid. I asked their rep, Luke, to review it. He ignored it and filed my claim anyway. 2 They completely failed to do their job. Even without my report, any trained roofing professional should have seen the damage was NOT storm-related. Luke either didn't know what he was looking at OR deliberately ignored what was right in front of him. A licensed Public Adjuster later told me there was NO CHANCE of winning this claim. 3 After they got my claim denied, they tried to sell me a new roof out-of-pocket. Once my claim was denied, their sales pitch changed: "Since the claim didn't work out, let's talk about financing a new roof." It was a setup from the start. They KNEW this claim wouldn't work but wanted a foot in the door to sell a roof. 4 Their manager ADMITTED they made a mistake, then LIED in their BBB response. I spoke to a manager for 20 minutes, who told me outright they should have handled my claim differently. When I filed a BBB complaint, they denied everything and tried to blame me. 5 Now my homeowner's insurance is at risk because of THEIR negligence. My Public Adjuster warned me that filing this bad claim could cause my insurance company to drop me. United Contracting and Roofing NEVER warned me about this risk. They don't care about your insurance, your home, or your financial security--just making a sale. BOTTOM LINE: STAY AWAY! They don't check anything before filing a claim. They push you into claims that will fail just to get a sale. They take ZERO responsibility when things go wrong. They will put your HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE at risk. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable contractor. Do NOT let United Contracting and Roofing LLC touch your insurance claim or your roof.

They are not only professional at what they do but also reliable and dependable. I've had 1/4 of my house remodeled and added an 3 story elevator for my wheelchair access. There is a reason they are ranked best in the area 13 years in a row. They offered me a very reasonable quote, the end result, exceeded my expectations and will call upon them in the future.

In 2018, we began what we thought to be a small remodeling project. As time passed, it morphed…read moreinto a huge undertaking. As things were stripped away, it became clear that our home needed a lot more than we expected. Unfortunately, we were left wanting with our initial contractor. I would find myself sitting in a bare bone, skeleton of my family home in tears (very often) because of my frustration and scared that it would never come together the way I envisioned; forever sitting "unfinished" and devastated. In the middle of my mess, I completed an online search for contractors. And shortly after, Tracy Tesmer Design & Remodeling saved my family home and helped us to bring every detail of what we wanted to fruition. Over the course of several months, we watched my family home transform. The professionalism of the project team was amazing! From the design phase to the completion, we were consistently impressed with the hard work, professionalism, and efficiency of the sub-contractors and the implementation of various phases of the remodel managed by our project manager (who always placed our best interest first). The design of the interior palette was easy and not overwhelming as I feared it would be! We knew what we wanted, and the designer made it easy for us to choose our paint, counter tops, and cabinets by narrowing down our choices based on our expressed desire. I truly cannot say enough to convey how impressed, appreciative, grateful, and thankful I am for Tracy Tesmer and his amazing team!
