I'm not certain if it's under new management/ownership. Also, beware when purchasing food items. I then noticed the best buy date on the package had passed several months earlier.

They are…read moreopen til 10 pm, which is nice because the market across the street is only open until 6 or 7. They have a decent dairy section, including organic milk, and some (non-organic) sour cream, cheddar cheese, Stonyfield & Chobani yogurts, and some ice cream. There's a coffee maker that uses coffee pods so it's always fresh (though it can't really compete with Starbucks across the street). They have a few pieces of fruit up at the counter. Tonight they had pomegranates! There's also the usual packaged food selection in the aisles in the middle, and coolers of drinks lining the walls. Straight back as you walk in there is a case that has Capone foods pastas and stuff, which is really convenient if you don't want to have to go all the way over to their store. There's also a little ATM, though I haven't used it--I'd imagine there's a fee as you use it, but don't know. Overall it's a decent place to stop by if you need a few items. The prices are fair, which was actually a surprise given the small size of the market. The place is well-lit, clean, and almost always empty, but I hope it sticks around so I can keep making my 9pm milk-runs.

When my mom was a kid, it was Pete's, when I was a kid it was Tony's (and God bless Tony, he was the best!). Now we call it Ray's because Ray owns it and runs it with his family. He's friendly and great and takes good care of his customers. This is your standard corner store, so if you need milk, the paper, lotto, etc they have it. They always have fresh coffee. Not gourmet stuff but good affordable coffee. Plus they've always sold Ritchie's Slush; you can't walk by and not get a slush in the summertime, especially if you're playing at the park across the street with your kid! Anyhow, it's a good little neighborhood place, so support it and forget 7-11.

They also sell lotto tickets, so there seem to be a handful of guys who hang around there all the time, just buying tickets and scratch cards.
