James and his team at J Milliman Painting were so attentive to the detail and completion of this project from start to finish. James provided a very fair quote. We appreciated James taking the time to notice the importance of the vegetation surrounding the area that they were working throughout the week and communicating this with his team. The painters did a fantastic job! They were not only professional but also personable and approachable. At the end of each workday, the team tidied up thoroughly. Their mindfulness to every nook and cranny and professionalism was greatly appreciated. The project was completed on schedule, and we could not be happier with the finished results! Without a doubt we will be calling J Milliman again the next time we need any type of commercial painting done at Lakeside Village and wouldn't hesitate to hire them for our personal renovation needs.

Make sure your painter hires a team of qualified painters too. Some of the job was done satisfactorily. In fact, we initially submitted, then removed a glowing review. Partly because we were happy to get our house back in order, and partially because we did not closely inspect the work. But after examining the final details, the expertise was not there. All of our metal hinges, brass knobs and one set of steel patio doors will have to be replaced. The hinges and knobs were painted. Now, the cabinet doors do not close properly. As old as they were, they closed perfectly prior to the painting. The steel door was spray painted, and very sloppily done. Mr. Milliman sent the painters back to try to rectify the door problem. However, the workers only smeared more paint onto the doors. Workers also dumped a pasty, sticky substance behind our mature Italian Cypress Trees. We did not report it to Mr. Milliman. I asked them to remove it and dispose of it properly. As stated previously, do your due diligence first before hiring this company. The value for the $12,500.00 fee was not there.

We hired with them for interior painting of our home. The team was quick, efficient, and they were very concerned that we were satisfied before they finished. Highly recommend! I plan to book them later this year for our exterior. The price was fair, Pedros responded within 30 minutes of my inquiry, and he was over the very next day to give me a quote. He was very considerate of our home as he took his shoes off at the door. This is the kind of company that you will want to hire.

He will not take responsibility for his lack of civility. As mentioned, the quality of work was great but if the owner of a business cannot manage their emotions if any dissatisfaction is shown, it makes for an unhappy experience. Search for his very early reviews in other review sites, they are horrible! We've installed cameras knowing he has a retaliatory nature as evidenced by a previous reviewer.

It's been a week now, and they still look great! In case you're curious: 1. I live in Sacramento. Apparently they do work all over. 2. They do not remove the cabinet doors from the cabinet - they do the work with the doors still attached. 3. They do remove all cabinet handles for you, and they completely protect the nearby surface area and the floors. 4. They spray the varnish on, which is the preferred method according to the DIY articles. I hope that helps.
