I…read morepurchased the "Standard " Xpel bra for my 2017 dodge charger scat pack (Front Bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors). I did my research prior to choosing Clear Choice and while doing so, I was giving ridiculously high and low prices. While speaking with Glen he said something that made me decide to use him, " if you want the bra 100% perfect then I can't do it, nothing is perfect but if you want it 99.999% perfect then I can do it." This made me realize he was honest but realistic. From start to finish, Glen was professional and helped me understand exactly what to expect before, during and after the xpel application. Glen was kind enough to allow me to drop my car off on Easter Sunday (Even though my appointment wasn't til the following day". I arrived to his business and met with glen prior to dropping my car off. He explained the different options offered for my car (Brand & pattern). I went with the Xpel over the 3M simply because what I read online. Glen is authorized by both Xpel and 3M (try and find another person/shop who is authorized by both) therefore he keeps his opinions to himself on which is better (like anything both have pros/cons) and allows the customer to choose. Don't get me wrong, he will absolutely guide you and explain the differences between the two brands/patterns. Ultimately, the choice is yours. After picking up my car, I couldn't be more happy with the outturn. Glen used a much harder Xpel pattern on my car to avoid adding additional application lines (my hood scoop makes it very difficult to apply as one piece). I couldn't find one thing wrong with the install, to me it looked 100% perfect but Glen explained to me that someone, somewhere would manage to find a flaw. However I couldn't and I looked real long and hard. He even washed my car so it was returned to me clean (even though I dropped it off relatively dirty). Overall, Glen is professional and takes pride in his work. He gave me a fair price but a top of the line install. I highly recommend using Glen, the old saying "You pay for what you get" couldn't be more true with Clear Choice. Don't be the person who goes for the cheaper shop and then has a heart attack when you realize the mistake you made. I will update my review after a week or two and let you know how the Clear Bra is holding up (I have no doubt it will be flawless). I forgot to mention, I was giving a warranty card (10 year warranty), a receipt and a few other goodies that Glen gives to his customers. Glen told me if I have any questions or concerns to contact him right away. I know this review is long but I couldn't shorten the paragraph enough and still manage to express just how great of a job Glen did. Put your nerves at ease and go with Clear Choice, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Picture one- picture of the front install Picture Two- shows my hood with the Xpel installed, try and find where the seam is. If you look at the right/left sides of my hood scoop, that is all one piece on the entire hood. They make a pattern that has a release cuts on each side of the hood scoop but that is two additional lines to be seen from the naked eye. I am so happy Glen used the more difficult pattern to eliminate the lines.

I recently took delivery of a Lexus NX PHEV and wanted to ensure that my purchase continues to look new for many years. Clear Choice had installed a clear bra on the front end of my previous Kia Sorento. When combined with regular washing and waxing, the Sorento looked as good when it was traded as when I took delivery. I am confident the NX will do the same. The NX has a surprisingly complex front end, surrounding a large and intricate front grill. When I got it home, I spent a good hour going over each of the areas that had been protected and did not find any problems whatsoever. In a word, perfection. Highly recommended.

I handed him the key and I went back into my apartment to work on other tasks. It took about 4 hour to do both the interior and exterior. He explained how he couldn't really fix the scratches because the thin coating on my paint was too thin. I understood because I personally haven't taken the time to take care of my car all these years. He was able to apply wax though. The car looked so shiny and clean. The interior really felt close to being brand new! We didn't have plans to go out that day but we couldn't resist the urge to go out in our "brand new" car and drove to Old City. Wish I had before and after photos but I hope these end results proves their work!

I ended up taking it a different shop and they found 2 issues and made the repair. It cost me $160 to have this repair done. I called Bill at Illusions but he wouldn't answer. I sent him a text message with the repair receipt to see if he would reimburse me the $160. He said he would look into and get back to me and I have not heard from him since. So I paid him $1000 cash and had to pay $160 to have his work fixed and he just goes on like nothing happened. I'm not chasing this guy for $160, but if I were you I'd steer clear of him. There's a lot of other places to get a radio or a detail. His detail guy Eric is a great guy and does great detail work but Bill doesn't really care about customer service. I will not be going back there or recommending Illusions to anyone for anything. At this point I don't care about the $160 but it would have been nice to be acknowledged rather than ignored.
