The estimate seemed to be in line but I got a second estimate just to be safe. The second estimate was more than twice as much as Gene's and for the exact same unit. On top of that the second company tried to hard sell me. I accepted Gene's bid. Installation was scheduled with no delay. The office staff kept me informed throughout the process. The installers were on time, efficient, neat, and really nice guys. The installation looks great and works as expected. I got a thorough explanation of how to operate the unit before the guys left. I highly recommend Gene's.

Free estimates! Need I say more?…read more Okay, I will. We had a different company that we used for many years and were even members of their club. They started to go down hill and tried to sell us on everything we didn't need. So we called Tiger! They came out and diagnosed our cooling issue and were not trying to oversell. I felt they were honest and got the job done. I saved about 5k by using Tiger. I had them come out for a clog a few months later. They couldn't find an issue and felt the Draino I used did the trick. I've lived in the RIverbend area for six years now and Barrett Heating & Cooling has been my go to…read morecompany for my HVAC system. They've kept my A/C and heating in good working condition. When I first started with Barrett H&C, I bought the yearly service plan and have renewed it every year since. It's a good value and a great way to keep your heating and cooling system going strong while not straining your budget. The package includes annual visits twice a year at the beginning of each cooling and heating season. Doing these bi-annual check-ups, helps keep an aging system last a little bit longer. Over the years I have had a couple different service technicians, but they've all been professional and friendly. When I schedule my appointment, the dispatcher gives me a couple of time windows to choose from. When the tech is on his way to my house, the dispatcher calls and lets me know they are on the way. Good techs and an attentive dispatcher, equals quality customer service.

King did a fantastic job with our new HVAC system. We are all electric with a heat pump and I was…read moreconcerned about how all that would go. We had a very old system and desperately needed the upgrade. Every single part of our experience was seamless, professional, and excellent! We called on a Friday and we had a crew working the next week, completing the process in just two days. From the start of working with King, it was easy! John D. came to our home, explaining what we had, what was needed and what options we had to get the most from our hvac system. He was polite, professional and very informative. He wasn't just selling stuff to sell it, he really gave us confidence from the start, knowing his information and being able to explain the options and different brands and systems to us. We were even able to get a new filter system that only needs changed once a year to save on replacement costs. We also now have a working humidifier system too! Then meeting the install pros, like Mike W. He continued to add to my confidence in King Heating and Cooling. He came in very friendly introducing himself and his crew (he did this any time a new tech would come out), explaining what would happen, answering questions I had going into the install day, and was very respectful of my property (asking where they could park, laying down protective sheets to cover flooring & stairs and they all wore booties over their boots to make sure and show the upmost respect and politeness). I appreciated that and actually didn't even expect that! I also was grateful of how John D came to make sure all was going well on the job. What company do you know of that provides this type of quality assurance, none that I know! King is different, they're not only experienced, but they go above and beyond for their customers! Mike W made sure to help set up our new thermostat and walked me through the app process and answered all questions. The whole experience was exceptional! It's a huge purchase and you want to have confidence that every part of the process is smooth. King knows just how to do that. They have a very kind office staff that welcomes you in and creates a pleasant phone experience too. They also provide updates any time your technician is coming out, sending you a text with their picture and a bio about them. I loved that. Taking extra safety precautions like this is important in our world today. I'm so happy we went with King Heating and Cooling! We'd recommend them to everyone! From start to finish, you will be taken care of with professionalism, expertise and excellence!
