Absolutely Terrible Experience - Shockingly Different From Last Year…read more I used this company a year ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.

We were very pleased to have selected owner John and his company "King of Kings Moving Ministries" for our unload. Don't let the name confuse you - they are hard-working movers and are also Christian - they're not going to evangelize you (unless you ask!). They took very few breaks and deducted the time off for lunch. The rate is very reasonable. And John knows how to move and set up a grand piano. I think he would have done a better job than our loaders on the other end of the move. And if you have an extra hand dolly available, they'll use it, too - saving even more time. Give John a call.
