Engine light came on and off also TPMS (which they did fix) the first week I had it and now back in after 2 and half months engine light is on again supposedly they figured out what it was BUT it will cost over $400 out of my pocket (even though have warranty they offered) just to get where the problem is and to see where it's leaking then plus the parts to fix but don't worry they make it sound like they are easing your mind having this warranty. Do not take their warranty they offer and make sure you get everything wrote down. I feel like I got taken advantage of, they do have great salesmen they make you believe they are way better than mom and pop shop and they are far from it. Service manager is NOT easy to deal with. Does not reply to voicemails, my car sat there for a week I ended up stopping there and talking to connor the salesman who sold me the car to help get an answer. If you buy from them make sure it's brand new (factory warranty) or lease you might be ok BUT I guarantee I will never buy from them or recommend them. Which they just lost out on possible two more car sales considering parents are looking and soon to be 16yr old. Just don't want anybody else to deal with this headache. Lesson learned the hard way.

When I picked up the car, they ran the diagnostics for the check engine light. The codes were listed on my invoice but nothing was really checked. They just cleared the codes. Then the service manager tells me he took the car for a 5 mile ride to make sure it was okay but when he was driving the VSA light and the triangle light came on. Didn't say anything about checking out why this happened. Told me to drive it awhile and maybe they will go off. What service place sends you home with warning lights still showing on the vehicle? I don't really think this place knows how to repair cars. I told them I would more than likely be calling on Monday to make yet another appointment and the service manager said, "no problem, we won't charge you for another diagnostic check". I would hope not. They should have fixed everything before I left. I was so taken aback I didn't know what to do. Yes, I should have demanded they repair the car then and there. However, it was Friday at 5:00 and I believe their mechanics had already left for the day. They have had more service managers in the short time we have been taking in our car. I'm in the market for a new car and love Honda but knowing how this place operates makes me realize this is not the place to purchase a new car. If their sales force is like their service people, how could you justify buying a car from them? Honda called to check on our satisfaction of service and my husband told them what happened. They said they would call on Monday. So far no phone call. We will be calling them today. Anyone know of a good mechanic that is reliable and works on Hondas?

My daughter's Cadillac XT5 was losing contact with the key fob and would not start. We had them reprogram the keys in the past . My daughter works long hours -early to late., and needs the car for work. She called Brent Mackcow (service manager) and they discussed a receiver that can go wrong beyond the key transmitters. Brent goes above and beyond to help you. He ordered it, sent emails/texts outlining what ordered and when it arrived -next day. My daughter was able to drop it off early -before hours, and they got right on it. It took a couple of hours, and when done they even drove to Nisswa to pick her up. She did not have to rent a car. We also recently bought another XT5 from James in sales. It was a special optioned version and we really like it. Dondelingers has been great to deal with and we will be customers for years to come.

Why continue scheduling appointments if there are not enough staff members available to accommodate them in a timely manner? Customers deserve honest communication, reasonable scheduling, and confidence that their concerns will be taken seriously and addressed properly. After multiple visits without a resolution, I have lost confidence in this service department. I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau to share my experience and seek assistance. I am not someone who complains without reason, but I do believe customers should speak up when they feel they have not received the service they deserve. Then when someone retired this place started missing repeatedly. Whenever I had an issue before they looked at it gave me an estimate an then I'd get it fixed. But that stopped with the new replacement. I couldn't get a straight answer on what was wrong. Instead he'd say it could be this or this or this and we won't know if it's right until we just start fixing stuff and maybe we'd get lucky and fix the right thing first. And the cost would be around $2000 if it's not not right on the first try. And with that horrible and scammer type "estimate" I left. I went to several places and most wouldn't even look at my vehicle. Then I was sent to a totally new place. He looked at my vehicle and he told me what he would do. He said he needed to do a simple test and if he was right the repair would be like $60. So definitely not anywhere close to the $2000 one at all. I absolutely had him go ahead and it turns out he was right. Then a few months later I had an issue so brought it back to the new place and right away he found the issue and gave me an estimate. I quickly remembered I've had that fixed before. So I called up Advanced right away because it should be under warranty still. Especially sense I paid for the more expensive replacement part so it wasn't plastic anymore and that way it shouldn't break. (so many lies from that new front desk guy) At least that's what I was told. So the guy at Advanced looks up my vehicle and tells me that my warranty actually expired the monthe before. I missed it by a couple weeks. So I made an appointment for the new place to repair it. I've now paid for that repair multiple times! About a month later I was sorting through piles of paperwork and found and old repair receipt from Advanced Auto. I did a double take af the date. I got out my other receipts also. Lined up all my repair slips and it turns out it was still under warranty! The warranty only had a little bit of time left on it before it would've expired. So when I called up to talk about it he tried talking over me and double talk me. I said he could either pay me the amount I paid to the other shop or and he hung up on me. I called back multiple times and was hung up on. So I called the next day to let him know that I would randomly place a truthful review of my experience on any platform I could for the rest of my life. So here's to another truthful review of my experience dealing with Advanced Auto. I'm still taking my vehicle to the same place that didn't rip me off or try to scam me. And I've happily recommended the new place to everyone over the last few years. I also know for a fact multiple people followed me here and stopped going to Advanced Auto. I do love the truth with a side of petty.
