He's originally from Philly, and as someone from the East Coast, I immediately felt that warm hospitality. The hotdog was loaded, flavorful, and way better than I expected for someone who usually keeps it simple with the toppings. The bun broke down a bit from all the toppings, but that was to be expected with all the toppings loaded on there. You can't beat the location, it's right outside the Ilikai by the lagoon though the service alone makes this an easy five stars. A recently, they opened a location at the Shingon Mission on Sheridan st. That's the mission that has the annual Bon Dance event in the summer. They have set up shop in the kitchen area and have counter and three tables to accommodate the raging hoards of fans. The offerings right now are somewhat limited but the offerings are sure to please. We tried their bbg meat sandwich deluxe, the waffle dogs and their ono shake and strawberry freeze. (See attached pics for current offerings. ) As they feel their way through offerings and opening times, (only open 2 days a week- Fri from 6pm to 10pm and Sat. from 10 to 2pm. as of nov 15, 2025.
