I got yelp specifically for this. i just wanna say they're a**holes and sketchy. I've heard from my neighbors that they would frequently put incorrect parts on to do things cheaper but also they are very unreliable for like dire situations. If you needed something done urgently pretty much and you were able to stop there then good luck tryna get service. They straight up refused to help get my window up or even try to do anything when it was pouring rain out and the button wouldn't work. I just see a lack of empathy and care in their work but i have heard of good prices and i've seen many other good reviews so take this with a grain of salt, just my experience tho. read more

Jeff was able to get me in quickly, worked around my schedule, and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He and his team were super friendly every time we spoke and went above and beyond to accommodate me. Contacted J&B Auto Repair, Uniontown, Ohio in March of 2023. I spoke with Jeff and asked if they could replace head gaskets on my wife's 2014 Subaru Forester. Jeff said he could and for me to bring it in. I had AAA tow the car to J&B Auto. I called later that day to ask if he received the car and if he needed any cash to get started. Jeff said the car was there and that he would bill me when the car was completed. I called back a couple weeks later to ask how the car was progressing. Jeff said they had it apart and that he sent the heads out for machining. I continued to call every couple of weeks to check progress. Every time I called, Jeff told me the car was in a different stage of repair, i.e, He was waiting for seals to put in, He noticed an oil pressure problem, He had to send a head back to the machine shop because of a clogged oil port... I finally went up to see Jeff and examine the car. The car had not been touched at all. It was sitting in his parking lot covered in dirt. The engine compartment was covered in dirt and dust. He was lying to me the entire time. Weird right? I finally told Jeff I could see that they hadn't done any work on the car and that I was going to tow it to another auto service garage. On June 6, 2023, I went to J&B, asked for my car keys and had the car towed off of his lot. Why Jeff chose to lie repeatedly to me is a mystery. He could of just told me he couldn't or wouldn't do the job and I would have taken it somewhere else. My vehicle's air-conditioning was on the fritz. I took my car to J&B Auto in Uniontown, OH for repairs. I paid J&B $240.00 for the "repair." Within two weeks, all the Freon in the A/C system leaked out, and my AC still did not work. I called J&B if they would honor their warranty. Jeff, their repair shop manager, told me that the 2nd repair would cost another $200+. At that point, I took my car to the manufacturer, and Dodge showed me that J&b REPLACED the WRONG HOSE! I wrote a letter to the owner asking that they honor their work warranty or at least reimburse me for the wrong diagnosis. The owner, Dave Cotton, wrote back that I signed off on the work they did, so there will be no reimbursement. I am not a car mechanic, and I rely on the repair shop for their expertise. If they tell me that "X hose needs repair," then I sign off because they are the experts. It is similar to relying on a cardiologist to tell me what valve is causing heart issues and agreeing to an operation. I do not contradict the 'experts' at the auto repair shop because THEY ARE CERTIFIED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. J&B not only misdiagnosed and conducted an inappropriate 'repair'; worse, they do not own up to their mistakes. STAY AWAY FROM J&B AUTO! Lack of customer service + they do not honor their work warranty + they expect the customer to be the car experts and push the blame on the customer for 'signing off on the job' if J&B makes a 'repair' that does not fix the problem! read more

Took months for the shop to "figure out" what was wrong with my vehicle. Once they did, they jerry-rigged it to work. We paid for something that was "fixed", yet it didn't even last a weekend. We tried contact the merchant multiple times but have yet to hear back from them and it has been weeks. This is the second vehicle that they messed up/never fixed.
