She and another lady arrived to complete the service on time. She emphasized on arrival that they were heavily booked today and seemed a bit anxious. I thanked her for scheduling me. Out of respect for their time, I showed them around quickly, and they got to work cleaning. I left the house with my dog for a bit, though they said we could stay to minimize interference. Within an hour to an hour and a half, they were done. The cost was $140. When I came back, everything looked okay at first glance. However, later, I found debris still in the corners. The water was dirty when I mopped my floor a week later. For context, I have a tiny dog whose paws get wiped on entry. I don't wear shoes in the home, and I work out of town and am out most of the day on the days I'm home, so there is not a lot of foot traffic in the home. I'm unsure if the home didn't get the attention needed because of their busy schedule or because it stressed her, but attention to detail is critical in the cleaning business. If proper attention can't be given to a home, it's better to reschedule than leave the job somewhat undone.

That is why I am thrilled to have found Maid to Clean of Statesville, NC! This is a one owner/operator business and her work is excellent. She is thorough in her cleaning and pays attention to the small details. She is the first person I have ever come across that cleans my bathrooms to my standards. But the BEST PART: Her work is consistent and she cleans it just as well the tenth time as she does the first. I have found over the years that a cleaning company or person usually does a good job the first few times, but eventually they begin to rush things and the job is not done as well 3 months down the road as it was the first time. Not so with Tracy. She is present on every job and makes sure her helpers do a good job as well. I have used her services for 6 consecutive months on a bi-monthly basis and I am very pleased each and every time. She uses her own supplies, unless the client has particular cleaners they want used, in which case the client supplies their own. Her fee is based on an hourly rate, with a 4 hour minimum. I have a 4000 sq ft home and my rate varies between $100 to $150 per cleaning, depending on how much I need done. I consider it a very reasonable rate for the size of my home. She and all of her helpers speak fluent English, so communication is never an issue. All in all, a great small business owned by a very conscientious person, something that is becoming rarer to find all the time.
