A long standing fishmonger, this place has been there as long as I remember. What's better is that they also open on Sunday with what looks like fresh fish.
I personally go there for some of their smoked fish for soup, their smoked salmon but more importantly their fish balls. SO GOOD! I know it sounds weird but for some reason the combination of fish, spice and breading somehow manages to make them so moreish.
Everything not prepackaged is done by weight and the price is generally good. They also sell farm fresh eggs, various sauces and even some prepared fish although I've never tried them so can't comment on their quality.
The guys working there are also longtimers so know their stuff. They're more than happy to prepare the fish how you want it and service is with a smile (sometimes slightly crooked, but definitely a smile!). read more
