Our experience with Brighton Montessori has been incredible…read more My son started shortly after he turned 2. We wanted more than a daycare. We wanted Montessori practices and principles. And it was immediately apparent that Brighton Montessori offered this. We looked at a few different options before choosing BMS and there was a startling difference. In the other daycare centers, the children were running around yelling, a few crying, one kid was climbing up a bookshelf, etc. When we came and looked at BMS, the kids were playing quietly in groups with their "work." Within a few weeks of my son attending BMS he was picking up his toys, pushing in his chair and saying "thank you." All that said, this is not to imply that BMS is strict and quiet! The children are allowed to be children! They run around outside. They sing songs loudly! Everyday my son comes home and proudly show me his artwork. They play play play! The teachers are also fantastic. They are some of the most gentle, kind and compassionate people I've met. My son adores them. He gives them hugs when he leaves for the day. He arrives at school and feels comfortable telling them all the things he did that weekend. He respects his teachers but sees them as allies, not a threat. This is entirely due to their respectful interactions with our children. I could go on and on. There are halloween parades. Christmas cookie parties. They help you with potty training (if desired). They have communal lunch and snack time. It's just a wonderful, caring, family-oriented environment. Please go visit and see for yourself!

I feel like Red Bell did the best job preparing her for Kindergarten. If you are in the area and looking for a preschool, definitely check out Red Bell. The teachers are wonderful. Very caring and concerned about the children's well-being and their development. The owner is great. He is totally accessible and open to communication. They have an amazing cook. And I just love the office staff. #redbellpreschool.

My child loves math but she had missed some instruction during the school year and wanted to work…read moreon it over the summer. We bought math workbooks and a subscription to IXL to use during the summer. However, it became clear that having regular sessions and attention from a tutor was needed. Having me, her parent, as her tutor was . . . challenging for us both. Mathnasium seemed like something to try next. After the initial skills assessment, we decided to sign her up for the summer sessions. After a few sessions, it became clear that she was loving it. She enthusiastically attended each session this summer (20 one-hour sessions!), had a great time with the tutors, and learned quite a bit. She just completed her school's math placement assessment for the next school year. She definitely caught up on the missed instruction and then some! She is looking forward to continuing at Mathnasium this school year! Thank you!!

I have nothing but great things to say about The Learning Experience- Wixom. The staff is wonderful…read moreand so hands on and engaging. Being a first time mom and going back to work, I don't feel guilty dropping my daughter off everyday. The updates and pictures on the app throughout the day give me peace of mind and a reminder of how well she is being cared for. The facilities are so clean and they sanitize everything in the nursery everyday. Rana, Nicole, and Ms. Sarah go above and beyond! TLE is so much more than a daycare, they have a curriculum and programs that keeps the kids engaged, while having fun and preparing them for life. My daughter has been going here since January (3 months old) and she has flourished here. Developing and learning everyday. Knowing they care for my child the way I would while I am working is all I can ask for in a facility. I highly recommend TLE-Wixom, you will not be disappointed.

Sadly our experience was not good things that were promised from day one including an application that can be viewed to see what was being fed to our infant son and daily activities, papers showing our toddlers activities and meals, flexibility with scheduling, etc. unfortunately most of those things never happened. Their policies are not friendly to most parents who have kids who will get sick, or schedules that may change. They do not listen to parents concerns or take their opinions as fact but merely side with staff. Their camera system does not work so it doesn't matter what occurs their is no proof either way. They care about money and a bottom line and not you or your children please avoid this daycare.

You must have heard of legendary teachers that change lives. There is one teacher there that will…read morechange your child for the better for ever. Ms Rani I write this review super emotional. I don't think teachers like you exist. Thankyou for everything you have done for my kid. My little girl is going there for the last one year and apart from getting an education she is being groomed. She is confident and has learned social skills from Ms Rani, her mentor who she loves as much as she loves her family. I hope my daughter learns what is humility from Mrs Atman. Mrs Atman runs this school with kindness and firmness that makes you proud to be associated with Brown Academy. Never an unkind word always so polite and humble that she wins you over. Mrs Atman you have created a little heaven for the kids. I am a father and super snobbish about my kid. I want the best for my kid and Brown Academy provides that on a daily basis. God bless you all. May the kindness with which you treat my kid come before yours. May this enterprise grow and may more people realize what a treasure Ms Rani is for all of us.

Brown Academy is by far the BEST Montessori institute in all of Michigan. I have a 4 year old and…read morewe went everywhere to find a good medium of education for her. Even enrolled her in some places which claim to teach by play etc. I am not one who wants a child to read college books by age 5 but I expect a bit of learning from the school when I am paying a good amount of money. It was my lucky day when I found out about Brown Academy. My daughter was about to turn 4 then and only knew her ABCs and rhymes because of my constant pushing. As soon as she started coming here she fell in love with the concept of writing, reading and comprehending things that I remember I did in middle school. Ms Atman the owner is the most amazing woman I have across. She has put her heart and soul into this school and it shows the moment you enroll your child here. You will be beaming with pride in no time at the pace your child learns here. The teachers are brilliant, sweet and so loving. My child has learnt leaps and bounds here and I only wish I had known about this place sooner. The teacher handling the 4 years olds, Ms Rani, is the reason that my child wants to not go to any other school and just keep coming back every day. She is an absolute gem of a woman and the best teacher I have ever come across. It takes a big heart to teach little minds and she has the biggest heart I know. Such a gentle, loving, sweet woman! I have moved from Farmington hills but I Drive my daughter very happily for a 35 minute one way trip so she can come to her favorite place till she graduates into Kindergarten. I cannot praise this Montessori enough. It is the best thing you can do for your child. A good foundation leads to a strong pillar. Brown Academy Montessori is the strongest foundation you can provide your child. This is from a woman who has been to all Montessori and preschools in the town, because let's admit it we want the best for our child. Thank you Brown Academy, Ms Atman, Ms Rani and the whole team for all your efforts, love and kindness. You all will always be the shining stars in our hearts.
