I had my appointment today with JoJo and I couldn't be happier with not only how well I was treated by staff when scheduling, but how amazing of a job Jojo did. It was a little more expensive than I usually spend but it was WELL worth every penny. I went from feeling so low about myself to walking out with a big smile and that's what Kim Harper's salon and JoJo did for me. I couldn't be more thankful and plan to be back for the next time I get my hair done. If you're hesitant, don't be. I'm beyond happy I found this salon and Jojo.

Your stylist called me and told me ON VOICEMAIL: the day before my appointment told me she was sick. Fast-forward two weeks later . Then two weeks later I call you guys and tell you I might be 10 to 15 minutes late due to a car crash on the highway and you immediately told me to reschedule. You don't even try to accommodate me in anyway so keep lying keep talking lies. That's a damn shame. So I'm so sorry you guys think "hell" is such a bad word. Also this is all after my appointment two weeks before was canceled by your stylist. Never had that done before by a stylist thought. Hell I would've taken a different stylist that day. I would've even waited . But you guys just immediately canceled on me. It seemed like you really wanted to get out of there. It was close to the end of your hours at the salon. Either way, it was extremely unprofessional and instead of accommodating me by having me go to another stylist you guys just canceled my appointment. Very unprofessional they do not communicate well with their clients. I'd recommend a more established place that cares more about their customers and clients. I came back a few more times to do vivids then found out I was pregnant so I curbed the colors. But: when I was getting colors, Darci made sure to talk thru options and what colors would work best in my hair. The time went quickly because I had such a great time while I was there. All the stylists are so friendly, and the salon is just lovely. Okay: the best part - when you lay down at the shampoo bowls, they are sooooo comfortable! At other salons I've sat so uncomfortable with the bowl on the back of my neck... here, you sit so comfortably it's just lovely! I started going to Uniquely You back in about 2003. I was introduced to an awesome lady named Olga, and she is amazing! Her personality is always bubbly even when she is running around like crazy, and her skills are phenomenal. When I first went to see Olga, I had long brown hair, and I was in the "DON"T CUT TOO MUCH OFF," portion of my life. Well we played with some color, and she convinced me to cut off the dead ends. I don't know what type of crazy magic this girl pulled, but by the end of that year I had hair up to my cheek bones that went from boring brown to a platinum paradise. Talk about bombshell. Between the two ladies I have gone to (April is listed in another review...) I never feel more beautiful than when I leave the chair of either one of these two ladies. I tell Olga all the time that she is a hair ninja. She comes up with crazy ideas that I never would have thought of, and I used to go to her and tell her to do whatever she pleased because I KNEW the results would come out fantastic, and what she determined looked awesome, looked much better than any of my plain ol ideas. Olga will tell you if a cut or color isn't right. She is creative, and will ask you if you are sure before any drastic changes. For the amazing work that she does, she should be charging much more than what she does...(but I'm of course, glad that she doesn't.) I moved to NC and I seriously just flew back into town to visit people and managed to squeeze in for an appointment with her. I have gone to a stylist here, but so far none have held a candle to either of my ladies. So to Olga, thank you for making me feel beautiful and for being so amazing at what you do. I made my appointment and was eager to have a new style. I was very specific with Erin (the manager and stylist who was cutting my hair) and showed her what I wanted. However, I ended up to the point of tears due to the horrible hair cut I received. It did not look like what I had asked for, she didn't listen to what I had to say about my hair, and it was an awful experience. She did apologize at the end, but neither the manager (Erin) nor the shop owner, who was there, bothered with anything besides, "I know your not happy with your haircut." Really? Now I'm stuck with an awful haircut until it grows out enough to get the layers blended without losing more length. I definitely do NOT recommend this salon!
