Real talk, when I got my dress from the bridal salon I hated it. It fit nothing like the sample,…read moremade me look 2 sizes bigger than I am, and just looked fugly. Thank goodness I was able to book my alterations with Carissa! She took this dress that I was not excited about at all and turned it back into the dress I fell in love with. I did a sew while you wait appointment with her since I was an out of town bride and it was well worth it! My mom and I stayed in her shop for about 6 hours one Friday a month or so before the wedding and she fit the dress to me, sewed, fit again, sewed, and fit again until it was perfect. It gave me such peace of mind seeing my dress transform in one day. Carissa also offers day-of services which I wish I had done. My husband stepped on my dress right after our first dance breaking 4 of 7 bussels. We had to saftey pin it back together and I wish Carissa would have been there to do a quick fix! Aside from my husband's misstep the dress was perfect all night long. If you need major alterations done Carissa is your seamstress!

There was an employee that was staring at his phone outside the entrance and when we walked into the store, he slowly walked in behind us, still staring at his phone. We looked around a little, noticeably confused, and after a few minutes, he looks up from his phone and asks what we're looking for. We told him and he just points over to the front corner, never offering to do a size check or ask any more details. He went right back to staring at his phone after answering. That video was deceiving unfortunately. Save your gas and go to men's wearhouse.

Whenever he spoke to us, his voice was sharp, almost commanding and he seemed to be rushing us, whereas I observed him speaking very mildly to a White male customer. After I purchased a vest for my grandson, I observed the man inspecting the dressing room that my grandson used to try on vests before he went to inspect the vest area, as though he suspected us of some kind of wrong doing. I will never spend my money there again. Suit City has definitely lost a customer.
