Ivory Farm appears beautiful on the surface. It is meticulously maintained and the care of the horses is adequate. However, anything positive about the facility ends there. The manager makes it impossible for you to enjoy the facilities and your horse due to her severe mental health issues. She may appear nice when you are touring the farm but on the day you move in, she lets you know she has cameras everywhere (as if you are a criminal for visiting your horse) and that she kicks boarders out all them time. She does this immediately to establish power and control. She will text you daily, including evenings, to the point of harassment. She will threaten to kick you out just for your horse pooping in the aisle, despite the fact that you cleaned it up, or for failing to announce "door" when you enter the arena. The barn closes from 4-5pm to bring the horses in. If you have a vet appointment scheduled near this time she becomes stressed and anxious. Every time you visit she will pull you aside to have a talk with you. She will switch from being wicked to charming in the same encounter. She will not talk with you in front of others because her accusations are lies and slanderous. The barn has 10 empty stalls in an area where horse boarding is in short supply and most facilities have a waiting list. Except for Jennifer M (or is it Jennifer E) who is an enabler, the few boarders that are there, just tolerate or humor her to avoid any interaction. Pretty sad situation, as you are paying top dollar and can't enjoy your horse. Her husband and son seem very nice but they don't stand up to her bullying, so they are equally to blame. Until she is gone, I would avoid this facility at all costs. read more
