I had my first microblading session with Jeanette on the 11th of January and I enjoyed every minute of it. The week leading up to my appointment, my nervousness grew but it all went away after Jeanette greeted me. You will be shown the "templates" and Jeanette will make sure that you like what you see before starting. She will explain everything before doing it. I made an appointment on April 8th for the soonest available which was May 5th, I anxiously waited since I've wanted to get micro blading done for a while but was unsure and after my husband convinced me I figured why not. It's now the night before my appointment when I received a text message from a random number stating the person I had an appointment with wouldn't be able to make it because of personal reasons and I would have to reschedule online. No phone call, no email, not even a selection of dates to reschedule or any curtesy for the fact that I had waited weeks for this appointment. After some back and forth with this random number they offered to reschedule me to the next day, thinking okay I'll get both my services done the next day no big deal. Nope, after agreeing they then proceed to tell me that I would only be able to do one of the two services because they are booked. Fine, I asked for the the soonest appointment. Minutes later the owner Jeanette calls me and scolds me like I'm a child, telling me that I don't care that Allies uncle died in a car accident and she's a single mother. I'm sorry, but I'm a customer looking to purchase a service not a therapist trying to handle your personal problems. After listening to her trying to talk down at me for being upset that my appointment was cancelled less than 15 hours before I was supposed to show up for a $600 service, I decided to cut my loses and cancel. Moral of the story, stay away from this place. The owner is clearly mentally unstable and treats her customers like they are pieces of trash. read more

Just had my brows done today by Kayla all I can say is she's AMAZING. She'll go over with you with what's she's going to do, how to take care of your brows to retain maximize pigment and how best to take of them in general. They do make sure you go over precare and what to do before you come into the shop. When you leave they make sure you get a care bag with ointments and some pads to wipe your brows with afterward. For me, she did the combo brows which honestly I was expecting to hurt but felt like a little prick at most. She of course made sure to add enough anesthetic to my brows to make sure that i wouldn't have any discomfort. I'll of course update when the brows heal and after my second appointment. The location is in Lafayette Village and the shop is so nice and aethestically beautiful. It's a nice well lit shop and even the chairs are comfy. read more

I went to Ivey Artistry to get eye lashes extensions for a fitness competition I had coming up but they needed to be more dramatic than your normal everyday lashes. Allie definitely did not disappoint, they looked AMAZING and I got so many compliments on how great they looked! We are now working on dialing them back down to a more reasonable length for my every day lashes (but equally amazing - they were so long before I couldn't wear my glasses...I know terrible, right ;)), so I have gone for one fill and am getting ready to go back for another.
