I've had several different tree service guys over to trim my two trees, and I've never been the least bit happy with any of them, then I heard the commercial for I've Got A Guy on KISM 92.9 and decided to try them. So glad I did, these guys are top notch. They did the best job by far, and they cleaned up after themselves nicely too. I was so happy with their work I tipped them an extra $50. I can't say enough good things about this company and the people who work there! Jeff gave us a very fair bid to take down two large trees, and prune our fruit trees. They also dug up an arborvitae hedge and ground all the stumps, and all of this in about six hours. The guys are friendly, courteous, and very professional. We asked to keep the larger pieces of wood, and they very neatly stacked them where we asked them to. They ground everything else up, cleaned up all of the leftover wood chips and branches, and hauled everything away. Our yard looks fabulous! I should have done this a long time ago! Jeff gave us a fair bid to cut down three Cyprus trees from our front yard. The guys that showed up were phenomenal in their work ethic. They cut down the three trees, cleaned everything up and ground down the stumps in less than a few hours. I would highly recommend this company without any reservations. read more

This company is operated by fly-by-night hucksters who promise everything and deliver absolutely nothing! First, they came to ME, unsolicited--I did not call them, they contacted me! First red flag. If they are "swamped with business," like "Jeff" just told me on the phone today, then why are THEY looking for customers, instead of vice-versa. Second, "Jeff" promised me in my front driveway (on camera, mind you) that he was "friends" with the people in my HOA's Architectural and Zoning ("A & Z") Committee and it would be Jeff--not me, that would submit the tree trimming application to the A & Z Committee, which was due the very next day, Tuesday July 7th. This meeting took place in my driveway, on camera, as Jeff took the application paperwork, AND my bid sheet, with him. Question: If he never promised to submit the tree cutting application to the A & Z Committee, why did he take the application? Because he PROMISED to get it to them by their monthly deadline (July 7th), but he FAILED TO KEEP THAT PROMISE. After emails and 4 calls to the company, after Jeff ignored me for over 3 weeks, I called the company today. A lady told me Jeff "will call you in 10 minutes, which he did. The first time Jeff called me was 22 days after he met me in my driveway and took all the paperwork. He said,"I aplologize profusely, we've been swamped. We have a two week backlog, let me see if we can get yours processed in about 10 days. I'll call you back." He DID call me back the 2nd time today, saying, "We're just too swamped to process the application paperwork." This is a completely different story than what he assured me of on Monday July 6th in my driveway. So I said to him, "If I would have known that you would not have met the July 7th deadline for my neighborhood A & Z meeting, I would have submitted the paperwork myself. Instead you just wasted 3 weeks of my life waiting on you." Then he started backpeddling by lying and told me, "You said you didn't need the trees cut for about a year." I don't know which "customer" he was referring to, but either Jeff has a bad memory, or he is a bald-faced liar when confronted with the truth. Most likely a liar. Video proof. I DON'T GOTTA GUY TREE SERVICE. INCOMPETENT FOOLS. If this is how they screw up before they start the job, maybe I saved my house from being damaged by these buffoons! Remember: They knocked on MY door. I did not solicit them. STAY AWAY. YOU CAN DO BETTER WITH A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY KEEPS THEIR PROMISES and does not make up lies when they screwed up the deadline. Personally, I think another employee low-balled the bid estimate, and Jeff, the boss, later discovered that, and Jeff had NO intention of doing a job "that sounded too good to be true."
