We had a very favorable experience with Earthworks. First, we received a free consult with lots of recommendations for plantings, landscaping, in addition to addressing the issue at hand - a WIllow tree leaning towards our roof line, and multiple invasive vines threatening to take down our fence line. We were provided with an estimate within 24 hours and put on the schedule to remove multiple trees, trim the WIllow endangering our home, and removal of invasive vines, as well as recommendations for how to protect our home in the future, to include controlling invasive vines. The team was extremely professional and efficient. Earthworks was sensitive to our concerns and also knowledgable about tree health/growth and where to prune. They were able to get us into their schedule quickly. I could see that they were taking precautions to ensure that the job was done safely. They worked very quickly (at times literally running the downed branches to the chipper). They were able to work around existing landscaping. They communicated with us very well and were extremely responsive to our needs and desires, including some small add-on work. They were eager to share their expertise to help us make informed decisions. Even when we interrupted their work to ask questions, they were friendly and helpful--it didn't feel like they considered us an interruption at all. I am updating this review as my first one was of complete disappointment. After reviewing my comments, Christopher responded and asked what I needed done. My reply was everything they had promised. Earthworks had his crew back to my home and did everything I wished. One tree had been completely missed. By the time they finished, everything was trimmed, treated and manicured to my satisfaction as was expected. The workers asked me several times if trimming was done to my specifications. They worked very hard with heading back trees. Their efforts were much appreciated. Since the person in charge cared enough to meet with me, I would definitely recommend the Earthworks Company to my friends and neighbors. On a Sunday evening I noticed a tree leaning precariously towards my neighbor's house. I did not think I would get anyone out on a Sunday evening, but Brandon came right out and assessed the situation for safety. He came back first thing Monday morning and took down the tree. I had already made peace with the fact that my fence and part of my shed would be damaged and probably my neighbor's property as well, but he was able to lay it down right next to my side of the fence, away from the shed with minimal damage to anything. Earthworks is fantastic! Truly a pleasure doing business with them. Christopher, the arborist who came to check on my tree was extremely knowledgeable. And when the guys came out to do the trimming, I was very impressed. They were super friendly and conscientious. Scooter, Connor, and the guys were great and did a fantastic job. They consulted with me before finishing the job to make sure I was good with how they sculpted our large dogwood tree. And their price was extremely reasonable. Earthworks was prompt with giving us a bid on our large tree removal project. They took care of all the details with taking down the powerlines and the cable lines. Other companies had said that they were going to have us manage that part of the work. They were able to remove the tree without damage to any of our property, or other landscaping. They were efficient, prompt, and super friendly. My husband did not think they were going to be able to grind the stump as close as they were able to, but they proved him wrong! I have used Earthwork twice now to remove trees from my yard, and both times they have been excellent. Christopher came by the day I called for service and discussed a plan with me. Two days later I had the quote and five days later all the trees have been removed in a professional, safe and efficient way. Great job, out bit competitors, came early!!! After calling around getting bids, they were the fastest to get a bid and were half the cost of some of the other bids. I had a very large tree inches away from my house with half of the large branches hanging over the roof. And to make things more complicated I just had a new roof installed three days prior so I was a little protective of it. Also I was in a hurry to get it out of there before I started showing it to potential buyers. They scheduled me for two days out but said they would try to come early which they did. We had a tall maple that was damaged in a windstorm and was potentially going to fall on our carport. An arborist who no longer does tree work on Lummi Island referred me to Earthworks. After sending Brandon, the owner, photos of the damaged maple, he arranged to have a crew come out the very next day. The three person crew quickly and efficiently took down the hazardous limbs without doing any damage to our surrounding trees, our carport, or our utility box that was right beneath the maple. You have never seen a natural disaster turn into a natural treasure until you have seen Brandon at work. I had a pine tree well over a 100 feet which was uprooted in a windstorm hanging very delicately upon a another tree between my house and the neighbors. Wondering whose house would be crushed, I called Brandon. The end result being the tree came down silently and beautifully with no damage to either house. It was amazing. Had I called Earthworks Tree Service a few years ago, our tree might have been saved. Unfortunately, I ended up using their services to take down our beautiful, diseased white pine. They were prompt, efficient, and left the area clean. They were even understanding about my grief at losing the tree. Their rates are very reasonable, too. Earthworks did a really great job with a recent tree problem I had. Heavy snow and ice toppled a really heavy 60 year old pine tree on my property line, blocking my neighbor into her house. Earthworks came and safely took down the tree, cut it up into firewood size logs, chipped everything else and left a clean job site when they were finished. Earthworks Tree Service did an amazing job of taking down a very large 50' alder tree close to a two story house today (9-14-23) using a "cherry picker" bucket. They also took down a medium sized hemlock by climbing the tree and cutting limbs it as they went. Very efficient work crew also chipping branches as they went. I am very pleased with their work!
