Booking an appointment was completely hassle free, thanks to their online booking system I could make my appointment at midnight! The staff was so friendly and helpful, even holding my hand when I was nervous at the start. And the dentist was the BEST dentist I have ever been to! So gentle and calm, always making me feel like I am in control. I will definitely be sending my family and friends to see them. Happy to call you my dentist :)

After a less-than-satisfying experience with Quay Street Dental, someone recommended Ti Rakau, so I went along for a check-up. Firstly, they told me I needed less fillings than Quay Street did, and no crown. They also, rather than charging me for more x-rays, suggested I get them from Quay Street and pass them along. Unfortunately, the copy Quay Street gave me was too small to be of use, so I ended up getting them done at Ti Rakau anyway later on, for $30. I went to see them again this past weekend as I was worried about a tooth that looked cracked. The dentist was reassuring and kind, and replaced a loose filling on a tooth that had been bothering me for ages while I was there. She gave me plenty of anaesthetic and told me what she was doing the whole time. She didn't try and force me into getting anything else looked at, or suggest more expensive procedures. As such, I'm more than happy to come back and get my other fillings done there - I feel they are a trustworthy, affordable practice and am happy to recommend them! They also have great hours (open late and on weekends and public holidays), with no surcharge.
