They have the supplies for a lot of art/craft projects and you simply let them know whether you want to try it then or sign up for something. And if you aren't artistic on your own, there is no pressure to sign up...just browse through the wide range of items. There are paintings, photos, soaps, candles, wood items, jewelry, ceramics, glass items, etc. All items were made by artists in the region and seem to be affordably priced (especially compared to many of the galleries I've been to.) What the shop is interested is in giving the customer an experience, not just selling you an item. They can't out "Amazon" Amazon. But they can provide you a creative experience that Amazon can't. If we had more time, I think my wife and I might have taken a shot at making something. If you are interested, you might contact them ahead of time to get an idea of how to dress and get an idea of how long you should plan for making something or when the classes are. I did include a photo of a price list for some of the DIY projects with my review. If you are looking for a unique gift and/or want the option of making something yourself, plan on stopping by this shop. Review #2230

Everything they sell is from Brown County artists, I thought this was very cool! In the front they had a selection of jewelry and in the back was more artwork/photography with other items scattered around as well. Prices do vary pretty drastically, definitely some pieces I loved but could not afford! But it is still a lovely gallery just to look at, the staff did not seem to mind window shoppers at all. There was even a women working on some fabric art that was super nice to my niece when she asked a bunch of questions. One of my favorite collections was the metal jewelry, tiny pieces sculpted into amazing necklaces, earrings, etc. but sadly those were currently not in my budget. I did purchase some gorgeous blue earrings and my sister in law purchased a bracelet from the same artist. The guy who rang us up said he has told that artist to charge more...well, I guess, but by not doing so, she also got 2 of her pieces sold that day! So who knows how often prices fluctuate.

So, some take their works all the way to the ceiling! From what I can tell, the artists take turns inside the shop being the sales person/adviser about the works on display. Most of what caught my eye were paintings. Different styles were on display, but I'm kind of a plein air fan and so I definitely had my favorites. The art was reasonably priced/affordable for many homes. My only wish is that the space was a little larger so that each piece could be displayed with its own space, not quite so closely arranged. Note: I believe this is one of the shops that is up for auction at the end of Oct'19, so it is hard to know how that will affect this business. I hope the new owners treat these businesses fairly. She was very friendly and nice to chat with, and her husband make many pieces of earrings, necklaces, and other types of jewelry from various sizes of copper. His work is done thru a magnifying glass as it is very intricate with tiny details that look too small to have been created by hand. There are many small pieces of art as well as very large mantle pieces that would fill a tall wall above a large fireplace.
