There are no bath mats or rugs in the bathroom downstairs. (There were only two of us, so we had no use for the upstairs on this trip). The bathroom floor is tile and VERY slippery when stepping out of the shower. We had to lay towels on the floor. There is also no mat inside the shower, which is also slippery when wet. There were only three spoons and four forks in the kitchen. If there had been more people with us, we would have had to take turns eating. I would suggest adding more silverware since the home can accommodate eight people. It is great to have a laundry area; however, being on the second floor isn't very feasible. Since there were only two of us, and we used the downstairs bedroom and bath, we had to carry everything upstairs to wash. There are no laundry baskets in the home that would make carrying laundry upstairs easier. This is the home that was assigned to us for two people, this rental agency picks the home for you. Therefore, it was not very practical having an upstairs laundry facility. I have bad knees, and had to have my husband take care of the laundry since I am not to use steps. Although the home was extremely clean, the walls did look bad. There were many places where nails were sticking in the walls (where it appeared there used to be pictures), and many places had fresh paint to cover nail holes that didn't match the original paint at all. I know this is a cosmetic issue, and did not interfere with the actual stay in the home - but it does make the appearance of the home a bit 'ugly.' This is the first time we used this particular rental agency. I am not saying we would never use it again, but I would probably go back to using what we normally use first before using this - reason being you can actually see the home you are getting and know what it has to offer before you actually pay for it. That is one downfall of this rental agency - you don't know what you are getting until AFTER it's paid for.

I booked a rental home for my family well in advance, expecting a smooth check-in after our cruise. Instead, I didn't receive *any* information about the property until just two hours before check-in, despite multiple attempts to get in touch for confirmation. I was left completely in the dark, not knowing if my family--including my husband and in-laws--would even have a place to sleep that night. It was embarrassing and stressful. Trey finally told me that due to an error on their end, the home I initially booked was no longer available. He promised to "find" us a replacement--*hours later*, we were placed in a home that was nothing like what we reserved. It was outdated, clearly much cheaper, and absolutely not comparable in quality. To make matters worse, no one has followed up with me about a refund, a discount, or even an apology. As a short-term rental host myself, I would *never* treat guests the way this company does. You don't leave families guessing where they'll be sleeping just hours before check-in. I was so stressed about the situation that I couldn't even enjoy time with my family at Disney Springs. The anxiety this caused completely overshadowed what should've been a relaxing part of our vacation. To top it off, I had to call and email multiple times just to get our Disney tickets delivered. DeeDee did her best to help with that, but it shouldn't have been such a struggle. Trey showed no urgency and barely communicated. He hadn't even arrived at the office by 11 a.m., while my family was left scrambling. I'm currently pursuing a refund and, unsurprisingly, haven't received any response from Trey or anyone else. Called several times to determine which hotel we could use the gift card for, again vague answers. Bottom line, we won't cash-in on it because no one (after 5 or 6 calls) can tell us what hotels are eligible in the city we choose to visit. Terrible customer service by phone. Never doing this again. The place we stayed for the visit was old and out of date. We left a day early (hurricane threat), but more importantly not impressed with the property in Orlando. We paid almost $500 for this "vacation" stay, but my wife and I now suspect that a "Bait and Switch" has been pulled on us. I've emailed guest services, I've repeatedly called guest service, yet no one is willing to escalate this to upper management to find out what happened back in January. My email to their "Guest Experience Team" has gone without reply. Since they already have our money, we have no choice but to stay where we don't want and take their mandatory tour. But, the way that we've been treated, I would never want to invest in their timeshare program. They simply can't be trusted!

There were a few items I had to reach out about (smoke alarm was dismantled and pool alarm not working) but they came quickly to look at it and got everything taken care of. The repair man was really nice and made sure we were good before he left. The location was great. We were a little away from all the touristy stuff so we didn't feel crowded everywhere we went but we were close to places of convenience and only about 20-30 minutes from any parks we wanted stop go to. I would absolutely recommend staying here and will use them again for future stays in the area.

We got to the property at 11:35PM on Wednesday night. It is also my husband and 2 of our grandbabies birthday we are celebrating. We walked in and saw ants. No big deal, we are in Florida and it's hot right a couple of ants is probably normal. I did a once over. The carpet dirty, there are spots all over the walls with some crayon areas as well and there it was. A roach or two. I immediatley said to my husband. This had better be an isolated thing.. We put the kids down and went to bed as i got up the next morning and came down stairs.. There were a few more roaches. Then we looked in the game room and more. I called Shine and she apologized stating they hadn't had any previous claims. My thought.. there is no way. As I am talking to her I look around and there are sticky traps in places. So immediately knew they lied. Now they did send an exterminator for "the areas" that they claim are affected but the whole house is affected. It's roaches everywhere. We took our clothes to the car and I emailed them today.. I think they are now ignoring us. My mom came and is handicap so we can't just leave but we have been out of the house most of the time but she has a wheelchair that was delivered for her to get around so leaving is a little harder than that. We will be out of here immediately but I want others to know! DO NOT rent this home from Shine until they can confirm the bugs and areas have been taken care of. DISGUSTING!!!!
