Although they set a…read morepretty high bar the first time when we were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the bay and got fireworks and singing. Still this visit was very nice - (another room upgrade) - with views of the poolside. The ferry to Universal Orlando City Walk is super convenient as is the express pass that gives you 1 hour early access to the 2 connected parks and access to all the rides with express lanes. (Note: The express pass does NOT work for Universal Epic and it does NOT work for the new Hagrid Ride). Our friends stayed at Loews Royal Pacific which I understood to be a more family friendly hotel. The service and amenities were all great. Although minus 1 star for the (lower) water pressure.

Called down to let them know and at first they said there wasn't any housekeeping that was on staff. We said we saw housekeepers by the elevator and in the lobby. We were also willing to vacuum it ourselves or move rooms. Then she said she'd send someone (who arrived 10min later and thankfully took care of it). 2. Also, When we initially reserved our room we told them it was our daughter's birthday so would like something in the room. When we checked in nothing had been acknowledged or prepared. We asked about it and the front desk said they saw the note (awkward pause). We asked if something could be left in the room and she took out an order form for me to pick items. We chose cheese platter and ballon's which totaled $50+. She said we didn't need to be in the room (go to park normally) and they leave it in the room. Day after day nothing even after repeatedly reminding them. On day 4 out of our 5night stay they left a chocolate cupcake and a couple of strawberries. We called to let them know that's not what we ordered. The next day we got the cheese plate (pictured). It was left out all day (despite us having a refrigerator in the room) so when we got back to the room that night it was hot. Not sure how food safe that was. Definitely not worth the money or the hassle. We could've done better just going to the grocery store.

The maintenance fees are high and increase 2 to 3 percent yearly. We were given an option to do a week on them and lock in the price they dropped about 3 times to get us to buy in 18 months. We were advised $200 gift card to use toward hotel. They don't give you the gift card. You have to mail in our receipts from the hotel to get it. Called several times to determine which hotel we could use the gift card for, again vague answers. Bottom line, we won't cash-in on it because no one (after 5 or 6 calls) can tell us what hotels are eligible in the city we choose to visit. Terrible customer service by phone. Never doing this again. The place we stayed for the visit was old and out of date. We left a day early (hurricane threat), but more importantly not impressed with the property in Orlando. As sales sometimes go, it's a lot of double talking with no true answers. Read the fine print and keep your money to travel on your terms.

We've already pre-paid for our upcoming promotional Hilton Grand Vacations trip and property tour,…read moreand are already unhappy with how it's been handled. Two months ago in January, we requested a stay at a beach property for our Anniversary. Our rep said that he'd call us back to confirm, yet he never did. He has never even returned any of our calls to his voicemail! We've since called the main number, only to be told that this property is now all booked up. They then sent us a confirmation for a property we didn't want (claiming that it is now the only one available in the entire area). We paid almost $500 for this "vacation" stay, but my wife and I now suspect that a "Bait and Switch" has been pulled on us. I've emailed guest services, I've repeatedly called guest service, yet no one is willing to escalate this to upper management to find out what happened back in January. My email to their "Guest Experience Team" has gone without reply. Since they already have our money, we have no choice but to stay where we don't want and take their mandatory tour. But, the way that we've been treated, I would never want to invest in their timeshare program. They simply can't be trusted!

There are no bath mats or rugs in the bathroom downstairs. (There were only two of us, so we had no use for the upstairs on this trip). The bathroom floor is tile and VERY slippery when stepping out of the shower. We had to lay towels on the floor. There is also no mat inside the shower, which is also slippery when wet. There were only three spoons and four forks in the kitchen. If there had been more people with us, we would have had to take turns eating. I would suggest adding more silverware since the home can accommodate eight people. It is great to have a laundry area; however, being on the second floor isn't very feasible. Since there were only two of us, and we used the downstairs bedroom and bath, we had to carry everything upstairs to wash. There are no laundry baskets in the home that would make carrying laundry upstairs easier. This is the home that was assigned to us for two people, this rental agency picks the home for you. Therefore, it was not very practical having an upstairs laundry facility. I have bad knees, and had to have my husband take care of the laundry since I am not to use steps. Although the home was extremely clean, the walls did look bad. There were many places where nails were sticking in the walls (where it appeared there used to be pictures), and many places had fresh paint to cover nail holes that didn't match the original paint at all. I know this is a cosmetic issue, and did not interfere with the actual stay in the home - but it does make the appearance of the home a bit 'ugly.' This is the first time we used this particular rental agency. I am not saying we would never use it again, but I would probably go back to using what we normally use first before using this - reason being you can actually see the home you are getting and know what it has to offer before you actually pay for it. That is one downfall of this rental agency - you don't know what you are getting until AFTER it's paid for.

**Avoid This Company at All Costs - Terrible Experience from Start to Finish**…read more I wish I had listened to the many negative reviews about Orlandovacation.com. Against my better judgment, I decided to give them a chance--and I deeply regret it. The only helpful person throughout this ordeal was DeeDee, who was kind and responsive, but unfortunately, she didn't have access to the systems that actually mattered (like rental homes or ticketing). I booked a rental home for my family well in advance, expecting a smooth check-in after our cruise. Instead, I didn't receive *any* information about the property until just two hours before check-in, despite multiple attempts to get in touch for confirmation. I was left completely in the dark, not knowing if my family--including my husband and in-laws--would even have a place to sleep that night. It was embarrassing and stressful. Trey finally told me that due to an error on their end, the home I initially booked was no longer available. He promised to "find" us a replacement--*hours later*, we were placed in a home that was nothing like what we reserved. It was outdated, clearly much cheaper, and absolutely not comparable in quality. To make matters worse, no one has followed up with me about a refund, a discount, or even an apology. As a short-term rental host myself, I would *never* treat guests the way this company does. You don't leave families guessing where they'll be sleeping just hours before check-in. I was so stressed about the situation that I couldn't even enjoy time with my family at Disney Springs. The anxiety this caused completely overshadowed what should've been a relaxing part of our vacation. To top it off, I had to call and email multiple times just to get our Disney tickets delivered. DeeDee did her best to help with that, but it shouldn't have been such a struggle. Trey showed no urgency and barely communicated. He hadn't even arrived at the office by 11 a.m., while my family was left scrambling. I'm currently pursuing a refund and, unsurprisingly, haven't received any response from Trey or anyone else. Bottom line: this was a nightmare. I will *never* use Orlandovacation.com again, and I urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere--Airbnb or any other reputable service would've been a far better choice. This company is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. Don't make the same mistake I did.

The last comment about this stay was we dropped the remote control behind the bed and we had to move the bed and we found an old shirt behind the bed not sure how long it's been there but i don't know if they clean behind the beds but besides that it was great.

There are multiple buildings and we stayed in building 2. It was quiet even though close to the highway and a very short walk to building 1 where breakfast is served. Breakfast has very little and kind of lacking, but it is good for what you pay. Our room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. No complaints! I wouldn't hesitate to book again for the Great price.
