Sushi combo
Steve L.

Needed something fast and relatively healthy for dinner since I was traveling. Came into Itsu and liked: - friendly service - many sushi combo choices - soup choices (I had the classic chicken noodle) Everything tasted freshly made and the soup came out hot. Simple and easy and quick service.

My combo! Prawn, salmon, tuna and some avocado rice roll things!

Great place for a quick lunch. There's a fair bit of seating, is very clean and just 'feels' nice in there. Maybe it's the feng-shway or however its spelt... Oddly enough I like that there's not a huge selection of different foods as I struggle to choose when that happens. Not sure I'd come here for dinner, but for food during the day it's great. I had sushi and it just tasted so fantastically fresh with perfectly textured rice. Really impressed! My mouth was thrilled. The price was a pleasant suprise too, a tenner for a large selection if you eat in. On the subject of eating in, the air con was a bit over zealous I felt.

Not authentic, but nice place for a quick and healthy lunch. The calorie count for each item on sale makes it easier for weight watchers. Surprising to see some heavy-duty construction workers here; yesterday we saw some of his colleagues savouring large plates of sausages and baked beans around the corner.

After leaving Victoria station, I was needing a bit of a bite in a bit of a rush. Itsu was the perfect place. Say what you want about "convenience sushi", but I grabbed a spicy tuna roll and was in and out in less than 10 minutes and I made it to my event on time. It has bar style seating, and the lighting was pretty dim in the evening. Whenever I'm back in London and wanting a quick sort of healthy bite of sushi, then I'll totally stop at an Itsu.

A hip place to get a quick healthy lunch. Fresh sushi, trance music and affluent young business people.

A food made by a robot, also when you ask for noodles they arrive swimming in a soup.

I wish there was an Itsu in California, or even more places like it.

We ordered karaage, and gyoza as well as a selection of sushi (Four Meal Drive), which was a really nice sampler - we loved all of it! Also got the California roll, which was delish. Yuzu pale ale beer rounded out the meal. Overall 5 star experience - great service as well as delicious food and location that can't be beat if you are needing something in Covent Garden.
