I get the turkey salad sandwich with mustard everytime. Every TIME, it does not disappoint.

We've only picked it up but it is definitely a stop we make when we come into town. Super refreshing meal and so clean. I would recommend any of their sandwiches!! read more

The egg sandwich literally is a gift from god himself lol! Whatever seasoning they put on this, *chefs kiss*. I get it every time!!!

New owners have done a nice job. Back to the same deliciousness that I remember from the 90s Nice job! read more

Forgot this place Was atull there after 40 years! The turkey salad was a little dry but delicious still. My largest complaint was the place has not seen any reno in 40 years! Could use a facelift. read more

I'm not of fan of the new Tuna Melt on the menu. I know it's a health food store but it tastes too organic. $12.75 for a sandwich with a few chips? $3.75 for a sweet Red Zinger tea (no refills)? I've been coming here since 1990 but the pricing seems to be out of reach with the food. Oh, and you want me to tip for handing me my food to-go? Nah. read more

Hands down my favorite lunch in all of Louisiana. When I lived on the north shore, I use to get lunch from this gem at least once a week. I moved out of state about a year ago and I have to admit this lunch counter might just be what I miss most. Back when I lived in Louisiana I use to always order the turkey salad sandwich. I would like to URGE you all to order the sandwich with both avocado and cheese! If they ask if you would like it seasoned with spike ALWAYS say YES! Sadly, is when I moved I gave up meat. So I won't be indulging in a turkey salad sandwich any longer. BUT HAVE WORRIES fellow VEGG HEADS! There is a "SUPER salad" that is literally heaven on earth. It is a giant salad overflowing with raw veggies. It's served with shredded white cheese and mashed avocado. I'll try to help you understand JUST how good this salad is. I jusy visited home for the first time in a year and In the 9 days I was back home- I ordered from Another beautiful day about 6 times. I keep it in the fridge at all times for munching, meals, and night caps. What? It's raw! It's allowed, y'all! My favorite way to eat the super salad is with half and half dressing. Mix the balsamic dressing with the creamy Italian dressing. (You can thank me later) The Super Salad is huge, incredibly satisfying, and unlike anything you've ever ordered for lunch. If you're with a friend at the lunch counter ordering a turkey salad sandwich or just a scoop- go ahead and split a super salad with your friend. You won't regret it! Lastly I'd like to touch on the super salad sandwich. It's equally as fantastic. Again- Make sure to get it with avocado and cheese. I always order mine with the chips they offer. Once you have one of these massive sandwiches you will be sure to crave it from that point on. I promise. So next time you're in Mandeville looking for lunch, do yourself and your friends the favor and go eat some yummy wholesome goodness. Say hi to Ms. Sue and enjoy the smiles of the rest of the friendly staff. BE SURE TO ADD A ZINGER (spelling?) TEA TO YOUR ORDER. (I get mine half and half- half sweet half unsweetened) And remember..... ALWAYS SAY YES to cheese avocado and seasoning! Enjoy! read more

Amazing selection of products. Sydnie was such a sweet and patient employee and helped me find something that I enjoyed. Will for sure be returning! read more

This Mandeville staple has changed for thr worse. Gone is the heaping tall and flavorful Super Sandwich (tried twice lately) and today. The Turkey Salad was bland and so dry, I tossed about half of it. No more worn in comfy bar seating and hand written signs. I probably won't return. read more

My FAVORITE place on the north shore for vegetarian fare. Love the super sandwich and the service.

I have been eating here for YEARS, and it has never steered me wrong. There are countless healthy food options and, not to mention, helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend the turkey salad! Easily my favorite restaurant on the Northshore. read more

Nightmare experience. Been coming here for 35 years. Never again. Called in order and was told 20 to 25 minutes. Arrived 25 minutes later. Not even started on my order. Sandwich maker was cutting avocados and smashing them. No cheese melting on toast. Older lady doing dishes and then goes straight to deboning a store bought rotisserie chicken to make turkey salad. Yes, you read that right. After making fake turkey salad she then says we need to grate some cheese. She grabs the clean food processor container along with the dirty lid, blade, and plunger ti gray some cheese. Meanwhile, the sandwich maker girl is answering the phone and ringing up orders with her plastic gloves on and then starts grabbing the cheese and making sandwiches with the same gloves on. At one point a customer comes to the counter with a half dozen dirty dishes but there is no place to put them due to the counter being full of junk. So sandwich maker takes this load of dirty dishes to the sink and then back to sandwich making. You guessed it, same gloves... disgusting!!!!! read more

Another Beautiful Day is a health food store that sells everything from vitamin supplements to organic apple cider vinegar. They also have a small lunch counter where they serve, among other things, some of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever had. The Super Sandwich: carrots, sprouts, avocado, cheese (provalone maybe?) on multigrain bread. Sounds gross, but I think the secret is in the seasoning they sprinkle in there - gives it a little salty, spicey thing. I'm not even vegetarian, but I have one every time I'm in Mandeville. I seriously tell people all the time that if I lived there I'd go to lunch at ABD every day. They also do this mushroom burger that is equally great if you can't handle sprouts and carrots all the time. These are the only things I've had there, but they do many more sandwiches and maybe even soups, too. Don't stay away because this is allegedly heath food. These sandwiches are great by any standard. read more

Just got lunch for the office and they told me about the Super Salad. I got a large, and for under $10, it is big enough for two meals and came with a whole cup of their delicious dressing! It's kindof like a chopped salad, with alfalfa sprouts, avocado, cheese, broccoli, cauliflower, shredded cabbages and carrots... And it's massive! I used my GPS to find it, and when I got there, my GPS said "You have arrive at Another Beautiful Day!" Absolutely. read more

The new item on this menu is "awesome"! The Superside is broccolini with nuts ( or not) and dried cherries. When I say it's delicious and healthy, I am serious.. try it ! read more

I've been eating the Super Sandwich here since I was a little kid (38 now)- it is THE BEST. The lunch counter never changes and I feel like I'm stepping back in time when I go. I drive all the way from the south shore just to get this sandwich. Love this place- a true gem. read more

These ladies running the lunch counter know what they're doing! It is one of my favorite places to get lunch from! Everything is amazing! I think the food is appropriately priced for the amount that you get! It's a great place to order takeout as well! read more

Eat there once and you will understand why I give it 5 stars! Best egg salad sandwich ever! Also recommend the Super Sandwich. This place has been around at least 10+ years but many locals don't even know what yumminess exists inside. One thing to note: Just don't go there when in a hurry. But you can call ahead for pickup. Good food takes time! read more

Love this place. Super sandwich with 1/2 scoop of turkey salad added is highly recommended.

Yummy!!!! Love their turkey salad salad ( turkey salad on top of the super salad). Everything is freshly made and I love the cheese they use. Lunch counter gets crowded early, so get there early for a seat. I usually do take out. They also sell vitamins and kitchen staples, like oatmeal and wheat flour. Dont let the price throw u, the food is definitely worth it. I can get 2 meals out of what I order. read more

I love Another Beautiful Day! The sandwiches are amazing...my favorite is the one with carrots, sprouts, avocado and chicken salad with griddled whole grain bread. I actually live in Austin now and I'm sad to report that I haven't had a sandwich from ABD in about 10 years! However, I often think about this sandwich and crave it on a regular basis. The next time I'm in Mandeville, I have to get one ....or several....I wonder how they do in the freezer??? read more

Amazing sandwiches with ingredients I would have never paired myself but they are sooo delicious. The mushroom burger is divine, the super sandwiches is tasty, and their turkey salad is the best I have ever had. I get it with avocado and cheese. I wish they had a location on the south shore. I would be there everyday. read more

OMG. Finding this place was a nightmare. We called 3 times and got the most ridiculously "directions" from the lady behind the counter. She was more concerned about reading the newspaper than helping run the business. This place is tucked in the back of strip mall, hard to find. You'd think she'd KNOW this and be better with directions. Small, hole in the wall health food store with a 6 seat counter. Sandwiches were great, unfriendly service all the way around. Next time, is there is one, we'll take our sandwiches to go! If you jump the hurdle of finding the place and dealing with turkey staff, get the turkey salad sandwich; it's the bomb! read more

My favorite is the Super Sandwich. The turkey salad (as a salad or a sandwich) is very popular and good but doesn't touch the super sandwich. The mushroom burger is good but be prepared to eat it with a fork & knife because it is loaded with boiled mushrooms they cook & strain out of the water (?) to order so the bun gets soaked & sloppy. If you are in a hurry or lack patience, call in the order ahead & maybe take it to go. They only have a lunch counter with 6ish stools. I also recommend the red zinger iced tea (sweetened with honey for me). While you wait, pick up some spike seasoning. It is one of the seasonings they use on the sandwiches and works great on everything you cook at home. I do question their chip choice as it appears to be big bags of corn chips like you would get with nachos at a ball park. I am sure they are a healthier version but I always pass. Don't need them anyway, sandwich is filling enough read more

The best turkey salad you will ever eat! The sandwich is big enough to make two lunches - eat half and save half for another day . I love their honey sweetened red zinger herbal tea with this sandwich . read more

My mom worked here for a lot of my childhood and I'll tell you what, it is one of the best places I have ever eaten! I crave their food The super salad, super sandwich, turkey salad/ sandwich, and mushroom burger are all A+ and their red tea is refreshing also. It's such a cool and unique little spot in mandeville. They sell health based products and supplements and have a good counter you can dine at, they make everything right in front of you. Visit ABD!! You will thank me later read more

I absolutely love the food they serve at their lunch counter. The mushroom burger (sprouts, avocado, carrots, cheese, and marinaded mushrooms) is my favorite & whenever I give into my craving for one I definitely have to pick up a scoop of turkey salad to go! I will definitely be going back soon! read more
