Walking into Ms. Movale's Eatery I was excited. The staff was very friendly and very welcoming. The ambiance was vibrant. The restaurant was clean. And the menu was robust. As this was my first time, I took a moment to scroll the menu in full as there were so many good options. I was torn between Whiting and Wings but finally decided on the wing dinner. The dinners come with 2 sides so I chose Macaroni and Cheese and Cabbage. I went to the cashier, placed my order, paid, and was on my way to wait for my food. As I waited, I enjoyed all the original artwork on the walls and the music that was playing. Though it was almost closing time, the team still kept an upbeat mood and tone going. When my food was ready, I got my plate and was out the door. As soon as I got in the car all I could smell was soul food goodness. Oh my gosh! I smelled seasoning salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and a hint of season all. Babeeeeeeeeee! I was ready to eat. Opening up my tray, the wings were wingettes, however, they were fried to golden brown perfection and seasoned for the tongue pleasing gods. The chicken was hot and fresh and just had to taste one.
