There were no signs of neurological damage or fractures. She actually sat on the floor to assess my dog's gait and balance. My little girl is just fine today. I also appreciate how thoroughly she assessed my beautiful Persian cat's urinary problem. She's the first vet that has been able to successfully treat him. Their fees are not the highest or lowest I've paid and seem appropriate for the skill level they offer.

I take my dog to this clinic and they have always been great with her. (Well, correction, I TOOK my…read moredog here, but after today I will not return). **The person who answers the phone, honestly, has no business making direct contact with customers at all.** Our neighborhood has the sweetest little stray kitty that all the neighbors take turns feeding, and also work together to provide outdoor shelter for her. Today when it was my turn to put food outside for the kitty, I discovered she had come into heat and was surrounded by tomcats. Although we all love her on this street, we do not want more of her. And so I caught her, and called the vet clinic to arrange a spay for her. I did not even ask about cost. Clearly if I call a vet clinic I am familiar with, I already know that Penn South is not a low cost clinic. The person who answered the phone, assumed I am unable to pay (for reasons I cannot imagine), cut me off as I was trying to make an appointment for the kitty, and started trying to give me the number of a low cost clinic. When I let her know that I am aware of the clinic (I have referred people there before when I see posts on Facebook) but it has a long waitlist and this little kitty does not have time to wait as she is in heat now, and was about to also state that I certainly do not qualify for low costs services, when she cut me off a second time....... And said "Ma'am, female cats are in heat all the time". 1. Do not call this clinic if you do not want them to assume that you have no money for their services. 2. Female cats cycle the same as any other mammal and are NOT "in heat all the time" but this one is in heat today and is probably already pregnant from exposure to male cats before I found her this morning. Very rude, very condescending, interrupts and does not listen to the customer's needs, and is making terrible assumptions about people, this woman. DO NOT CALL HERE unless you want to be refused service by the person who answers the phone, and told where the nearest low cost clinic is.

Choices were good for adoptions . Submitted an application , did all that was asked for vets…read morerecords , references etc. Sent follow up emails on process and if anything else was needed . Originally we picked one dog and was told , many applications received on that dog . So we stated if that doesn't work we choose an alternate also . Reference calls were done and spoke with foster mom for original choice . No word so sent follow up email and was told you'll be getting a call from foster mom of another dog ( of which was not either of our choices ) . We replied and were then advised both dogs we choose were placed in foster homes already. WHAT !!! Thanks but no thanks , whole process took 3 1/2 weeks !

However, I was disappointed with the follow-up care. Just two days after the visit, my dog was still not eating, so I called to ask if a medication could be prescribed to help stimulate her appetite. I was told I would need to pay another exam fee of $138 before anything could be prescribed. As a pet owner, it was frustrating to be charged another office visit fee only two days after already paying for care, especially when I was seeking help for an ongoing issue related to the original visit. While the staff was kind, I felt the clinic's follow-up policy placed more emphasis on additional fees than on continuity of care. I hope the clinic reviews this policy and considers a more reasonable approach for patients needing follow-up assistance shortly after a visit." wasn't happy at all with this. never return to that company again it's just a rip off and my sick.

A hotel near the stadium employee's gave us towels and helped us locate an open Vet in the area. We could not leave an animal that needed care in the 20 degree cold in the streets, so we drove the kitten to UrgentVet in Moore. The 3 employees there turned us away and told us it was against their policy to help. The offered nothing. Cold and rude people with no concern for an injured animal. We then went to target and bought supplies. When we got to our hotel, an amazing employee took the kitten home for the evening and will find her a home. I cannot believe the employees at UrgentVet showed no concern or offered any help at all. I would never trust this facility with my pet.
