Buyer Beware - My Experience with Fine Lines Yard Maintenance…read more I would not recommend Fine Lines Yard Maintenance based on my experience. I hired Eric Rodriguez on April 28, 2026 to replace my wood fence and paid $3,800 upfront for materials, with the remaining balance due upon completion. The fence was promised to be completed by May 10th (Mother's Day weekend). To date, the project is still not finished. The old fence was removed, and the fence posts and cross beams were installed, but no fence pickets have been put up. For weeks I was told, "Your fence will be done this week," but the work never happened. For the last two weeks, I have called, texted, and messaged with no response. I even requested a partial refund so I could purchase the remaining materials and hire someone else to finish the job. I have received no reply. Additionally, my neighbor's sprinkler system was damaged during the fence removal process, and they have also been unable to get a response regarding repairs. They were able to do the bulk of the work on Saturday but due to the weather, the remainder could not be done the same day. Even though he has current customer's already scheduled for the upcoming week, weather willing the plan is to finalize the job on Tuesday. Based on Eric's professionalism & the work he did, I felt comfortable paying for the complete job that will be finished in a few more days. Their work order was not the updated version of the estimate so they were prepared to do work I didn't want, but I was able to intervene. They did a great job very quickly. 5 stars. Billing: The bill I received had work on it that hadn't been done. I was told the bill was the same as if the extra work had been done, which made no sense because it would have required more time and more material. I wasn't able to get the bill revised. 2 stars. All in all, 4 stars is a bit generous.

The order is not made until we have a common understanding of what I want. The workers that come out are hard workers, very respectful and do excellent work. They quickly respond to any questions I may have as does Phil. The finished project looked absolutely awesome and is very sturdy with an excellent warranty. Phil was very responsive when I asked him about replacing the railings to my back deck with stairs. I have balance issues requiring a cane to walk. Phil and I discussed my situation and discussed the best way for me to transfer myself from the stairway to the lawn and back up to the stairs again. We brainstormed different ideas using my suggestions as he offered some until we came to a very satisfactory solution that pleased me very much! The whole process was done in a very professional and yet casual manner where I felt very at ease with our exchange of ideas.
