He told us that his company could complete our fence replacement in Tukwila in just 2 days; one day to tear down the old fence and set the posts, and the next day to build our "good neighbor" style fence. We are past the 3 week mark and have had one delay after another. Richard Rodriguez told us just tonight that ours was a "difficult job." As you can see by the photos, our job is actually a very easy job. It is a straight fence. It does not have any curves, twists, turns, slopes, hills or covered bridges! The only difficulties this company has experienced doing our job is of their own making!! The company ordered the wrong style lattice so we were told that we had to wait 4 days for the correct lattice to come in. However, it took approximately 2 weeks for the crew to show up with the correct style lattice. In the meantime our yard was unsecured and looked horrible! Next, the crew they assigned to build our fence did not know what they were doing. We called Richard to come out and inspect our partially built fence because we could tell there were some serious mistakes. After Richard's inspection, he told us, "there were numerous mistakes made and that he would correct them." The next thing we heard is that the person who had made those mistakes in building our fence was no longer working for the company! Richard has been telling us for days that our fence would be completed that day, even as recent as 9:02am this morning! We came home from a 7-day vacation today "believing" that our fence would be done as Richard emailed us would be the case. WRONG! If you look closely in the photos, you can see that the top and bottom edges are not even and do not line up with the next panel. We have given this company 3 weeks to get our fence built, and from what we saw tonight, it appears that the entire fence needs to be taken down and rebuilt to get the lines even! We have no choice now but to contact our attorney, Patrick Doyle, at 5:01pm on Monday if our fence is not completed and perfect by 5pm. Many of Tukwila's fences are dilapidated, to say the least! You would think that a fence company would do their best work on our job in order to get high ratings and recommendations in order to get all of the business that Tukwila alone could give them!! Bottom of fence has a 6 inch gap between ground in places. Part of fence is in sections and other part is in roll chain link so it does not match. Uneven tops. Finding fence garbage all around work area. Over poured concrete for posts. Missing post caps. Did not clean up debris from post hole digs. I feel like taking them to small claims court.

They had to bring in an electrician a few days later to install it correctly. Then they replaced about 20 feet of pressure treated lumber that was supporting a gutter. But they didn't replace it with pressure treated lumber. i wanted to paint the regular 2 x 4 to protect it and make it look better, but they said they had to install it and there was no time to paint it. They could have dropped it off the day before so Icould have painted it.
