I'd been happy with his work and figured I'd probably need to call him again (my irrigation is a bit of a disaster thanks to the previous owner). Then, about a month after I had him fix everything, he texted me on my cell and asked me on a date. I declined. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable and now I have to find someone else to work on my sprinklers because I feel like asking him to come back is sending a different kind of message now. So if you're a man, he's probably an okay choice for help with your landscaping or irrigation. But as a divorced woman who lives alone, I am uncomfortable having him back for any further work and I feel like other women need this information when making a decision about who to hire (or not to hire).

Buyer Beware - My Experience with Fine Lines Yard Maintenance…read more I would not recommend Fine Lines Yard Maintenance based on my experience. I hired Eric Rodriguez on April 28, 2026 to replace my wood fence and paid $3,800 upfront for materials, with the remaining balance due upon completion. The fence was promised to be completed by May 10th (Mother's Day weekend). To date, the project is still not finished. The old fence was removed, and the fence posts and cross beams were installed, but no fence pickets have been put up. For weeks I was told, "Your fence will be done this week," but the work never happened. For the last two weeks, I have called, texted, and messaged with no response. I even requested a partial refund so I could purchase the remaining materials and hire someone else to finish the job. I have received no reply. Additionally, my neighbor's sprinkler system was damaged during the fence removal process, and they have also been unable to get a response regarding repairs. I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I This post reflects my personal experience with this company and contractor.
