I hired David to fix a couple of broken irrigation sprinklers about a month ago. He came out and…read morefixed the issues within a few days of my call and the physical work was done well and quickly. The second time I called him, he asked me to write down my number for him after he finished the job. We had only communicated on Yelp, so I assumed he was adding me to a customer list. I'd been happy with his work and figured I'd probably need to call him again (my irrigation is a bit of a disaster thanks to the previous owner). Then, about a month after I had him fix everything, he texted me on my cell and asked me on a date. I declined. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable and now I have to find someone else to work on my sprinklers because I feel like asking him to come back is sending a different kind of message now. So if you're a man, he's probably an okay choice for help with your landscaping or irrigation. But as a divorced woman who lives alone, I am uncomfortable having him back for any further work and I feel like other women need this information when making a decision about who to hire (or not to hire).

The work involved rock placement, a lot of it, and I don't believe one could find anyone who worked any harder than he did. He completed the entire job, working mostly alone, in less than two days. We had no idea what a customary charge would be for this kind of job. It turned out to be more than reasonable. Could not be happier. We will hire David Vargas Landscaping again, without hesitation, if we want more work done in the future. Note: I don't know what this California business is about in my profile. We live in Selah, Washington

They showed up on time, walked us through exactly what they were going to do, and got right to work. What I really appreciate was the respect they showed for my property. They were careful around my yard, landscaping, and surrounding areas, making sure nothing was damaged in the process. When the job was done, the cleanup was impressive. They left my yard looking better than when they arrived (although cliche...). No debris, no mess, just a clean and professional finish. Their pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes I received in Yakima. Great value for the quality of work they deliver. If you're looking for a reliable, professional tree service in Yakima, I highly recommend Uribe's Tree Service.
