Joes yard service is amazing! So glad to have found them. Messaged them around 7am and got a call back within an hour asking for more details. They came by same day to assess our issue as well as ideas we had. We had a sprinkler valve broken/flooding our yard and they quickly assessed and had it fixed. They then tackled a few projects we had been needing to get done including additional drip lines for some new plants and raised garden beds. The following week they returned to install a new tree line and privacy fences. It looks wonderful! Joe and his team are super communicative, efficient and knowledgeable. Appreciate their ability to jump in save the day and complete the work! Our new go to lawn and landscaping needs! read more

Joe and his team, with an extra shout out to Jose, are an excellent company to hire. I needed fence repair and a damaged arbor removed. Also a BB net set up in front of the new paved "BB court/patio" - which they installed. When I asked for extra tasks, Joe was quick to say "I can do that." Just had the front lawn replaced with sod, and I love it. Great company and team, I highly recommend them. They clean up, work hard, and show up on time. read more

THE BEST. THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Joe's turned our dirt pile of a yard into a stunning 3-tiered haven with natural stone walls. They did it all without delays and with good humor. Replied to our inquiry same day! Communication was easy and reliable. They worked to artist level building the walls, placing each rock with utmost care. They offered on point design ideas going truly above and beyond. And they did the major construction, leveling, removing tons of extra dirt, installing irrigation. Absolutely expert in every stage of the project. 100% professional. I will hire Joe's to do any future projects without hesitation! Recommend absolutely. read more

Joe's Yard Service is AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend them. We had small, old, very tired beds with broken plastic barriers and tons of weeds. They came in, pulled out all the old barrier and awful lava rocks, laid down new lawn fabric, new irrigation, saved the plants I identified, and even went out of their way to get exactly the rocks I wanted. They even tinted the cement border to match the eaves on our house!!!! They were professional, worked long hours to get the job done and left everything pristine and beautiful. I can't say enough about how happy I am with their service. If your looking for someone to make your yard look beautiful, look no further! read more

I contacted Joe's Yard Service and heard back the next day. He arrived at our home, listened to what we were trying to achieve, made several suggestions and we settled on the one that met our goals and budget. He said that they would start and complete the job the end of the following week. I was skeptical, but hopeful since he had been timely on all other aspects. He was true to his word and it was beautiful- better than I had envisioned. Job site was left clean with only so much better than when they arrived! Highly recommend!! read more

I would highly recommend Joe's Yard Service!! He came out when he was scheduled to give us a bid, and started the work earlier than we anticipated. They built a retaining wall, replaced a fence, took out some bushes, and put in pavers along the new fence. They do quality work, are pleasant to deal with, and got all the work done in 2 weeks! They did a great job - the pavers required a little bit of extra work to put in the planters I wanted, and they understood exactly what I wanted. Everything turned out great!! We will absolutely hire them again if we have another project. read more

I requested a quote from a website online. I expected a call back during normal business hours. However, I got a text after 8 pm that simply stated 'got u request' No name, no other info. That's not professional. And when I asked who it was texting me, no response. Go elsewhere for your lawn care. read more

Joe and his crew installed underground sprinklers, moved a chain link fence, and 'remodeled' our whole back yard, including installing pavers, replacing a grass steep hill on the side of our home. All work was done expertly, and accomplished in a short period of time. He is great to work with, and we highly recommend him. read more

I have had Joe's Yard Service work on my yard before. They removed two old willow trees and a large section of juniper. Recently they finished putting up a set of stone retaining walls along the front of my property. They look really good. They are nice folks to work with and very competition. I will be calling them back again for my next project. read more

Joe and his crew did a great job on all three of our properties from major tree trimming and removal to stump and major surface root grinding. His pricing was quite fair for the extent of each job. One tree on our personal property was very large and quite dead and both it's condition and position in relation to adjacent new fencing and plantings made the job quite challenging. Joe carefully considered various approaches before starting. His crew carefully removed the vulnerably placed sections of our new vinyl fence to protect it from damage and then safely and systematically took the beast down. They thoroughly cleaned up the job site and put the fence back together for us! The second property involved heavy trimming and limb removal of a large Japanese maple tree that is planted in an open ceiling enclosed courtyard. A great deal of the trees weight was resting on the roof and two of the large limbs were threatening to damage the roof. Joe and his crew carefully removed the offending limbs with no damage to the house and trimmed and thinned the canopy to a lovely graceful shape that no longer rests on the roof. Again the job site was left immaculate. In the third property Joe and his crew removed a large, partly dead tree from a small enclosed backyard, trimmed a large evergreen tree that was partly blocking the fence gate entryway, and removed several scrubby bushes that had been planted to closed to the house. The tree had an expansive nest of large surface roots which made use of the backyard treacherous for just walking and these were thoroughly removed. Again, the work was excellent, the job site was left very clean, and the results are great! read more

Our small backyard needed to be redone after another landscaper did a terrible job last year. Joe's responded quickly to my inquiry, gave me a fair bid, and began work the next week. Many landscaper overlook small jobs like mine....not Joe's. His work was quick, professional, and completed the remodel of my yard in one day. Do not bother looking around for all the beginners in the market. Save yourself worry and delays.....always call Joes' Yard Service for any of your yard projects. read more

Joe made arrangements to show up to do estimate on the day I called. It was actually a day noted on website as not a working day. He was friendly and it was easy to explain what I wanted done. The next day a crew of several people showed up early in the morning and set to work mowing, trimming, and general cleaning of property that was overcome and in need of care. The guys stayed hard at work for several hours until finished. Discussion of doing additional work in the future was done and I will call him again for any yard work I need. The price was reasonable. read more

I would recommend Joe's Yard Service to anyone. He answered my call the same day and the next day he came out and gave me an estimate. The rates were reasonable, but the quality was exceptional. Joe and his crew Jose' and Jose" were great to work with. They double checked with me on things as they went along. They are a top notch service. Joe's Tree Removal - My fence done by Joe's crew. - Tree Services Near Me

I googled "tree removal" and Joe's contact information came up. I called, left a message and within an hour he called me back. He came out in the evening to take a look at the tree(s). He gave us an estimate for one tree and the cost of three more for the future. We decided on one tree for now. He said he would come Sunday, but called this morning and said, "we'll be out in a few hours." They've come and gone, tree is gone, wood stacked and loose branches removed. I was pleased. The price was reasonable to take out an elm, but because it's expensive to have trees removed, we have to wait to do more. The other trees are bigger. Joe is friendly and easy to work with. I read the other more negative review and believe that Joe cares about his customers and if this happened, he did what was necessary to fix things. Hiring crews is always problematic, as we know from our own business doing home repairs and remodeling. I'd recommend Joe to other people. read more

Update on my previous review. It took several months and an angry review on his website, but he kept his word and repaid half of the bill.

We cannot say enough great things about Joe and his team! We called him on a Saturday and he arrived within hours to give a quote. His crew was here within a few days and finished the job in a day and a half. We can't stop staring at their work! Definitely call Joe to give you a quote at least and see for yourself, we're really glad we did and hope to use them for our next project. read more

Did not do what we asked for 3 weeks in a row. Consistently miss sections of edging. Would not recommend and probably deserve 1 star

Hired Joe to transpose backyard area that was nothing but a gravel area. Joe came and personally met with us to discuss and provide quote, also met us on a separate date at Lowes to pick out plants that would meet our needs. On-time, professional and did a great job. Although a little pricey, I think we got our moneys worth and the quality was real good. read more

Joe was very quick to come give us a quote for yard work, trimming, clean up, and if possible power washing the house. It was explained we were getting the house ready to be put on the market in 2 weeks. The quote was a little high but there was a lot of garbage around which we said we would deal with. So he went down to a more reasonable price. The work began promptly. However it is our fault we did not show Joe a picture of the kind of manicured look we wanted so the house looked nice for potential buyers first impression. I was home during the work being done and when I went outside to see I was very disappointed because the plants were butchered. Mind you they were trimmed back properly for winter and the person who lived there didn't water enough so they very much needed to be trimmed back. They'll look great in Spring. However we thought we communicated the esthetics were most important. All of that is just a matter of miscommunication. Joe was kind to take $200 off because of it. He then told us he gave us extra mulch to make up for the over trimmed plants and would replace the plants that were over cut. That was reasonable to us. Joe did do all he said he would do however he does not necessarily keep his word. I'm assuming it's due to his schedule. I found being firm with him and reminding him of what he said worked best. I would recommend him to only people who can be firm and don't let themselves be manipulated by sad stories of people trying to screw him over. The work was good enough but it's definitely not good detail work. And he makes you feel like you're ripping him off. Very unprofessional. I've been in business 20 years and it's true I'm picky about customer service. Joe has a nice personality however and I did tell him many times I was not trying to be mean but just to get what was expected and what we thought was communicated. He did get everything done in time for us to be able to paint the deck while the weather is still warm. So thank you for that Joe. It's just frustrating when you say you'll be there today and you aren't. Some people are just bothered by that more then others and I'm one of them. I know you're busy Joe. I know you work hard. I do too. read more
