A few months ago I posted about how Italian Touch's food (subs) had went downhill. I was really crushed because when I came up to visit my family and stay they knew the first thing I wanted to eat the first night was from Italian Touch. Well l'm back again and we have ordered a few times since l've been here and I'm so glad to say that they're back to their excellent food and fine service that I've known for a few years. The service of callers questionable , the fryer oil needs changed for sure and whoever is on oven duty please stop and the fryer . Usually this place is outstanding but last two times have been horrible with burnt ass food period ! Fat boy was burnt the two apps ordered last night the oil was so disgusting threw the appetizers out ! I work in food service and something needs to change . It's not good anymore at all ! Spent over 90 on last two orders ! I don't eat out often but when I do I expect better quality of food ! However I can say one positive thing the younger upbeat girl has the attitude to make it ! We went here after a long day of travel to attend the Polar Express train ride. this place hit the spot. We ordered the stromboli (with just pepperoni), steak sandwich with a side of onion rings and a kid's slice of pizza. The Stromboli was delicious. it was the perfect amount without being too much (I ordered the small). My husband and MIL really enjoy the sandwich (he even got another one). I tried the steak and it was delicious. I didn't try them but I was told by them the onion rings were ok. The kid's portion was generously sized and was enjoyed. The staff was very helpful and kind. I ordered my first pizza from here on 2/1/23. I got back home, which is in Capon Bridge, and discovered that the pizza was burnt black. I called and spoke to someone, who apologized and said I would have a credit for a free replacement pizza. Well, on 2/5/23, I was in the area again, so I ordered a pizza with my credit. Apparently, I should have checked it before we left the parking lot, because it is also burnt. I know that mistakes are made, but I've given them 2 chances, and they screwed it up both times. I will not be back. The pizza was not even edible. I scraped the toppings off and gave it to my dogs. read more

Totally delightful little in Romney WVA. I had the lunch order of an eggplant parmigiana sub with onion rings. Total of 6 rings which seemed very skimpy but the tasted great. The sub was one of the top three or so eggplant subs that I have ever had. The sauce had a good flavor not just a plain marinara and so did the breading one the eggplant. Speaking of bread the sub roll itself was lightly toasted but not too bready. Top the meal off with a delightful and efficient waitress named Taylor and I will be coming back to try more of the menu. read more

On the recommendation of a friend we traveled to Romney to take a train ride and see some scenery. Quaint and beautiful town, population under 2000, with few eating places. We chose this place on Main Street. The food was fresh, hot and very good. We had lunch special of Meatballs and Spaghetti with salad and bread. No complaints. I was really happy with the food and the prices. Check and make sure all is accounted for. We were shorted fat boys in our orded. Ordered again the next day for delivery and waited forever. There are only a few things that I require in a pizza place- delicious pizza and a good ambiance. This pizza place is awesome. As a group, we ordered the pepperoni and fresh garlic pizza, garlic chicken pizza, and hot wings. The pizza is pretty good. The garlic chicken pizza smells amazing. The pepperoni and fresh garlic pizza is pretty tasty. The wings have a good level of heat. Regarding their service- the waitress that served us was very nice and friendly. When we were wondering what is taking our wings so long to come out, she would check on it for us. She eventually found out that another table ordered a bunch of wings so they are making about 70. Our wings came out piping hot. We also wondered if we could get olive oil for our crust. When we asked her, she went into the kitchen and got it for us. This place also has free wifi which is a definitely sell in this small-town. This place also has tv which is an ideal place to be if you want to watch sports and chill with your buddies. read more

I would give this place no stars if that were possible , horrible service , drivers are always late , waiting and hour plus for food delivery , my family of 5 has gotten food poisoning from their pizza, they are always out of everything personally I dont know how they are still open. Your dinning experience depends on who is cooking in the back. I've had this food lots of times, and it's great. Other times though, the meats are over cooked and pasta under done. Also, it's hard to ruin a simple side salad but they load it with onions and peppers that that's all you end up eating. If you are going to call yourself "Italian" at least make sure that your pasta is cooked. read more

More than a pizza joint! A friend and I went here because Mario's was closed on Monday. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. It is set up as a nice restaurant. I ordered the special--Pasta Elio-- but asked they leave out the light white sauce as I am lactose intolerant. After consultation, the chef agreed with me that garlic and oil would work. It was delicious! Chicken bits in a lightly flavored breading, mushrooms and garlic on pasta. Really flavorful! I compliment the chef! He obviously cares about the food he serves! My friend enjoyed his stuffed manicotti as well. The salad had a nice touch, with banana peppers and house dressing, though I'd advise them to go with spring mix or romaine, not iceberg. Lovely meal. Lunch special: 12" personal pizza with 2 toppings and a drink (they are quick to refill) for $7.99. Thin, crisp crust. Toppings are limited and not exactly generous on the special, and there is no noticeable olive oil in the crust. NYC pizza this isn't, but overall I liked it for what it was and felt it was good bang for the buck. I like Italian Touch pizza better than the main competitors in town: Mario's and Domino's. I've also tried their Eggplant Parmesan sub. Not outstanding, but good - generous with the eggplant and the roll is also good. Note: It takes awhile from the time you sit down till you have your food, so I suggest calling in your order 10 or more minutes ahead. Went here on a Saturday night and there was a reasonably large crowd. I had the Stromboli and it was very delicious. Crust was perfect, and they didn't skimp on the cheese or salami. Service was friendly. Will definitely be going here again. I'll have to get a few other menu items to know for sure, but so far it's definitely better than Mario's. read more

If I could give a rating lower than a one this place will definitely get it. My family and I went here for an early evening meal and what a disappointment. I ordered the lasagna, others spaghetti and sandwiches. Well, it took over 30 minutes to receive our food (there was only 2 other people in the place at the time). During our wait our server never came to our table to ask if we needed more to drink or to apologize for our long wait. When the food came it was hardly worth eating. My lasagna was runny and tasted awful. It seemed it was taken out of the freezer, tossed in the microwave and put on a plate. The spaghetti was over cooked and the sandwiches were average. Our server never came back after the food was delivered. When I was at the counter to pay I mentioned how awful everything was and the person kind of laughed and said a meaningless sorry. He never offered an apology or anything to make it right. The parking area is very small and cramped. We will NEVER visit this sad excuse for a restaurant again. read more

I had ordered some spaghetti for delivery one night. First it took them an hour to get me my spaghetti. The time they gave me for delivery was 15-20 minutes. I would understand if I had a descent size order but that was not the case and I only lived a few blocks away -_- I had only ordered the spaghetti which comes with a salad and bread. Which the driver had forgot the bread... I really didn't care at this point, plus I wasn't going to eat it anyways. So I open my container and there is a layer of grease/oil an inch thick. Yuck! Which sucks because after the "draining" and "degreasing" ,it was actually good spaghetti :/ Strike three your out? Not exactly. I decided to give them another shot and went with some friends. The waitress was obviously having a bad night. But I don't hold that against them. But same situation unfortunately:( I got the chicken Alfredo. Which apparently comes smothered in grease/oil too. Except most of the oil "lurked" at the bottom of my plate. It too would have been good without the extra "topping". I am giving it two stars because first the amount of food you get for the price and second the food is good without all the oil/grease. read more

I am honestly not to crazy about this restaurant, however my family is so we eat here fairly often. Today was the last straw when we ordered a delivery and I found, not one, but two long curly hairs tangled in between my bacon and cheese French fries. It was disgusting, plus the French fries didn't even taste good before discovering the hairs. They were soggy, mushy, and not really appealing. The service and staff here is first class. I started off with the grilled sausage and beans which was outstanding. My lamb chops were one of the best I have ever eaten. And a great wine list! I will definitely return to this Italian restaurant on my next trip back to Romney . read more
