I had the absolute best brunch at Elisabetta's! Everything was so thoughtful, the flavors and the textures blew me away. I was truly impressed. I sat at the bar and the bartender was on it. He was working the bar, the surrounding area, and making drinks for the whole restaurant for Sunday brunch and he didn't miss a beat (unfortunately I didn't get his name). I dined alone, and the bar at Elisabetta's is the perfect place to do that. Comfortable seating and and inviting environment. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my Sunday at Elisabetta's!!

We ordered the Brooklyn Caesar, for the very first time, and to my surprise it was the star of the show today!! Omg!! Please try it! My partner doesn't even like kale, but this was stunning! Citrusy, craveable, perfect amount of dressing, and just all around mouth watering.. and I mean.. it's a salad! How good could it really be?! Well... try it! It was just unexplainable delicious! We also had the kurobuta pork chop which we rarely see in a chain menu, and it was also delicious! Super tender, well seasoned, accompanied by the sweetest chargrilled peppers I've had in a while. Our third dish was the tagliarini al limone, which was also very satisfying. The texture of the pasta was perfect, it had a great bite, plenty of sauce, and really delicious!

Chef Suzanne Perrotto opened in 2019 and named the restaurant in honor of Linda Rose, her mother. I have been wanting to go for years, but haven't because they don't accept reservations. Everybody seems to have been here from Michelle Bernstein, Guy Fieri, Raymond, Bruce, Greshka, Bill, Martine, Ariel, Quinetlla ... Everyone but me until today!!! Six of us decided to try going early on a Sunday evening off season. We found street parking around the corner. It's too Florida hot to stand outside in the summer heat. There are tables in front, a covered back patio with fans, large bar with a shared table ... There was an open kitchen with a large pizza oven, murals & shelves with ingredients covering the walls. I absolutely love good homemade pasta so this was a real treat. We waited at the crowded bar for :30 until our table for 6 was available. It was frustrating because diners finished their meal, paid their bill & spent :20 scrolling on their phones. While standing at the bar we enjoyed refreshing fruity sangrias. Our server was efficient and on point. The warm bread with butter and olive oil was crisp & delish. My husband & I shared 3 veal meatballs in a delicious red sauce. Couples shared their caesar & gorgonzola salads. For a main my husband & I shared the spicy lamb shoulder rigatoni. The serving was generous , there was lots of tender lamb, with melt in my mouth rigatoni that was full of flavor. Friends enjoyed their shrimp & linguini, roasted mushroom pappardelle & linguini & clams. Our pistachio chocolate mouse cake with white & dark chocolate, flourless chocolate cake, pistachio chocolate & pistachio gelato was absolutely amazing!!!

It was a nice night and we enjoyed our drink. Bartender was great. It is a very comfy homey place in spite of it being fairly big and very busy. We ordered the spinach dip and it was incredible!! The dip and the cheese with dumplings was so delish! The bread is very good. I had the special pizza of the night, it was good but the crust was soggy. My daughter had the pasta special which was cheese ravioli with lamb shank. She said it was excellent. My husband had the veal meatballs, he said they were just ok, kind of dry and don't hold a candle to mine. Caesar salad was good but missing the shaved Parmesan. It was not a top tier salad. The romaine was good. The service was great, the olive oil phenomenal! The food was above average.

And after this last visit, I will be passing on any future visits. We had a 6:30 pm reservation for 5 on a recent Saturday Night. That afternoon we asked if we can add one more person (so 6 in total) and were told we'd need to arrive at 6:15 pm. Logistically, that makes zero sense. The extra table seat wouldn't be a problem, and adding 15 minutes for the kitchen for 1 extra meal? But, ok. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant at 6:15. We are catching up, looking at the menus and within 10 minutes the owner is hovering over us asking for our orders. We ask for another few minutes -- we hadn't even gotten our drinks. He tells us we have 2 hours so we have to hurry. Look, I live down the block from Le Sorrelle. I pass it night after night, and yes, it's has its nights where it is party central. People love to host family events there. But most of the time, this place is sorely wanting for business. And while perhaps Le Sorrelle did fill up after we left, there was plenty of seating when we did slip out, well in advance of our 2-hour limit. As for the food -- I can only speak to what I ordered. A Caesar salad and Pizza Margherita. Both were awful. And I'm really not just saying that because of the restaurant experience that night. I previously had pizza at Le Sorrelle (albeit, years ago now) and it was quite good. Perhaps the cheese pizza would have been. As for a good Caesar salad, run, don't walk to Segreto Italia. Actually, just go to Segreto Italia, because Chris, Joey and Chip will treat you like gold and you'll have an overall outstanding experience.

Service was fab in a great open concept dining room. I would like to return to try some of their pasta dishes.

We started with Crispy Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer, followed by a small Margherita pizza. For our entrees, we ordered the wild mushroom ravioli and the shrimp truffle risotto. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The Brussel sprouts were especially outstanding, and both pasta dishes were excellent. The only reasons I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 are related to the outdoor dining experience. When our waters were refilled, there wasn't any fresh ice added, so it was essentially just melted ice water. I personally enjoy a nice cold glass of ice water, so that was a little disappointing. Also, there were quite a few flies and bugs around the patio area. It would be great if the restaurant added citronella candles or small table-top fly repellents to make outdoor dining more enjoyable and comfortable for guests. That said, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and I'd definitely return to Sazio again.
