I had a storage unit for almost a year I began paying $189.00 dollars and they went up to $208.00. I always paid on time. So I live about 2 hours away from the unit so I had not past by for about 3 months. My husband went by to pick up some of his tools. When he open the unit all of his tools were stolen. Over $10,000 of tools stolen welders,lasers etc. When I told the lady in the front desk all she did was take two pictures from the outside of the unit.she would not let the officer look at the videos because apparently it was a policy from the storage. Then she said that there's nothing she can do because there was no proof. She sent the two pictures to the insurance and told them there was no proof of entry so I didn't get anything from the insurance but my things stollen. I really hope no body else has to go trough this so please don't trust this place with your things. I THINK IF SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SHOW THE VIDEO IS BECAUSE SHE MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT!

The original claim was 3 payments in total 956.05 199.88 new claim # 438.17 new claim # 318.00 new claim # The day after I filed the claim the issue was resolved, however On April 18, 2024 Mary Elizabeth Spoto of 245 miller road orange city Fl demanded I cancel the claim and pay her the 956.05 in cash immediately or she was going to sell my belongings. On April 18th under duress and threats made by Mary Elizabeth Spoto I went into the bank on enterprise blvd and spoke with Joe. I then made two withdrawals one for 956.05 for the amount of the claim and another for 136.00 (fees this craphole put on me) I am removEd my belongings this weekend , however since they were paid the 956.05 in cash the day I canceled the claim against them I need the 956.05 back in my account. From the very first message they were punctual, polite, and informative. Like many people we thought we could do all the moving on our own and then it came to the day before we were supposed to be out and everything felt so overwhelming. So in the midst of everything we were also trying to find movers. We greatly underestimated just how challenging of a move this was going to be a black swan genuinely saved us. Not just that, they were genuinely some of the kindest people I have ever met. Even though moving can be an extremely stressful experience, if we had hired them from the beginning it would've gone so much more smoothly. Even though we don't want to move again, it's likely to happen sooner rather than later and we will definitely be booking black Swan again.
