I had my belongings stored at Logan Street Mini Storage most of 2022 and 2023 until I discovered my…read moreunit was accessed and my things were stolen. During my rental, it was not a secure facility in the following ways. Malfunctioning Gate Nearly every time I visited, starting in mid 2022, the gate was malfunctioning and up, allowing anyone to drive in. I notified management each time, and each time I was assured someone would look into it. Nonfunctional Keypads The keypads to the building were nonfunctioning from the date I moved my belongings in. I was told this in advance, but I was also told they were in the process of upgrading the security system, and no progress was made on this the entire time of my rental. Doors Haven't Closed Completely In addition to the keypads not being functional, and therefore not locking, some of them haven't even closed properly for the past year. Often, doors would be completely propped open when I arrived at the building. Camera Wires Cut When I visited the facility in late October 2023 after being away for several months, I noticed that in addition to all the nonfunctional security features above, the wires to the security cameras were cut and hanging from the cameras obviously. When I called to report this, I was told that the owners had been aware of this and that they had been trying to find someone to fix them. Units Accessible from Adjacent Units My unit was locked when I discovered my belongings had been stolen. After a brief investigation, footprints and crushed boxes drew my attention to the fact that the thief had accessed my unit through the large joist bays between the units above the walls. These spaces are large enough for a full grown man to enter a secured unit from any of the many empty and unsecured units which, due to the nonfunctioning security features listed above, are accessible by anyone.

I had to call few times to find out when shipment would be delivered. Upon getting the shipment I found out they didn't handle the shipment correctly. Most of the boxes marked Fragile were broken and were put at the bottom of the pile. I was really surprised to see plastic tote marked fragile was smashed and broken. I had a lot of damage to my shipment overall besides being delayed by a week.
