I agreed to this estimate and told the boss that I needed the truck at 12 noon on Tuesday and delivery at 3 pm on Wednesday, he agreed to this timetable. The truck didn't show up until 7 pm on Tuesday and it was a company from Brooklyn! They hurriedly loaded the truck in 2 hours. They then showed up for the delivery at 7 pm instead of 3 pm. All my boxes that we meticulously packed were crushed, my bedroom set was destroyed( see photos) , the mirror on my dining room hutch was smashed! (See photo) and to top it all off I was told my bill was 1100 and payable in cash only before they would unload the truck! Repeatedly called the boss and he refused to pickup the phone. The crew of 2 men spoke very little English and just said they are only workers. I should add that prior to agreeing to this move I asked if they were licensed and insured and was assured they were! I am presently taking them to court and reporting them to the DA fraud division. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UAC IS A FRONT FOR THESE FLY BY NIGHT MOVERS!
