The gentleman I spoke with, Brian, was very knowledgeable and professional. He came and assessed the situation and assured they would be able to resolve our leak issues. He had to check his schedule and let me know when they would be able to come for the repair. Communication was consistent by phone or text and they were able to come within 3 days. I received the invoice for the work and the amount was reasonably priced compared to the average price for the work we needed done. The day of the replacement, we were in communication before arrival, during service, and after the work was done. Brian was actually very respectful and personable. They were able to meet the daily time constraints for an appointment within a week. Although, I do think evening or Saturday hours would be helpful for those of us that work the same hours that they are currently open. The person coming to my house, Joseph, called beforehand to say he was on his way and showed up exactly in the scheduled time frame. I explained my issue and he got right to work. He even answered all of my questions without being bothered. It took some time to snake the drain and replace the old vents, but it was done well within a reasonable time frame. He even brought up Saffer's "Safer with Saffer" club membership which saved me 10 percent on this visit plus free estimates on future calls and even discounts with some other members in the program plus a whole lot more. It is well worth the $100 yearly cost. As others have said, they are not the cheapest but they are the best and I would have to agree. People always want something fixed on the cheap, but what they don't realize is you truly get what you pay for. I have learned it is almost always bettter to pay a little more the first time then have to pay twice for something because it wasn't fixed right. Not a single acknowledgment from a problem nor an apology. While some of the damage was eventually corrected, the poor communication, lack of attention to detail, repeated visits, and extended timeline were unacceptable--particularly given the high cost.
