They had security and police at the gates and the employees scanning tickets were friendly. Once inside, we made our way to the lawn area, claimed our spots, and put our blankets down. There is no shade whatsoever out in the lawn areas so be prepared to get some sun. We bought a few drinks and snacks. Three beers, one soda, one iced matcha, a hot dog, and an order of chicken tenders. The game was entertaining but sadly the A's lost.

Saw couples, families with kids, seniors who each all seemed to enjoy it. The announcer will have you groaning for better, but overall there are some decent places to view the cars not just during the races, but as they line up / set up.

There are plenty of car shows that are free and include more of the type of cars that I like. Tickets for this event were close to $50 each! Luckily, I had a code for $10 off per ticket that I got from their tent where they were promoting Fuel Fest at another car show. We arrived later than I wanted to so it got dark out pretty fast. Our Uber also dropped us off at the wrong area so we had to walk around a bit to the entrance. For the people who drove and parked there, it looked like they were walking pretty far to get to their cars. Besides the car show, there was a car competition, and drifting going on when we arrived. I believe they also had drag racing, drift ride alongs, Lucha Libre wrestling and special guest appearances before that. Later on, they had a laser show by Made in Vietnam! That was cool to see! They were on for about an hour. We watched the majority of it and walked around to see the rest of the cars real quick before leaving. It was getting really cold out! The event had food trucks and drink stands. Didn't try anything but the food smelled good. The only thing needed out there that night were heaters! My hands were freezing towards the end. We were recently at Mountain America Stadium for the class of 2026 graduation ceremony. There were…read moresome positives and negatives to our experience, but overall it was a fine time, and wouldn't deter me from visiting again for a game or other occasion in the future. I appreciate that the stadium is so close to the Light Rail stop, making it easy to avoid the parking issues other reviewers mention. We arrived fairly early for the ceremony, and were able to grab some solid seats in the shade. There are several concession stands and other food options surrounding the seating, and we found the prices to be pretty typical compared to other sporting venues. The concession stands were mostly well stocked ... with the exception of soft pretzels, which ran out before the ceremony began, and we were told to go check another stand after waiting in a 20 minute line. No thanks, we don't need a pretzel that badly! Entering the stadium was no problem, as there was a steady flow of folks filing in without any major slow-downs. Exiting, however, was a different story. This may just be par for the course with graduation, but the exit stairs were completely full, and felt rather unsafe. I'm not sure the best solution for this, but it's something to note, especially if you're claustrophobic.

It's at West World, so lots of parking and walking - bring your cowboy boots and go on a barn tour, eat some bbq, then have a drink, and see a show!

I LOVE this event! Whether you're a serious runner, just…read moregetting started, or a walker looking to change up your routine, Adventure Run is a great event. The best part about it, other than being completely FREE, is that it isn't a set course or distance so everyone, regardless of ability, can participate. You start off by going through a mini expo and trying out gear, tasting samples, or checking out various local races and you get to earn raffle tickets as you go along. Then, they drop a map and it's up to you to find as many of those checkpoints listed as possible in an hour to get even more raffle tickets. Fast runners can go the distance and get a great, fun workout, while walkers are still able to get to the closer checkpoints. At the end of the hour, everyone returns to Road Runner Sports for a huge raffle! The prizes never disappoint and always include a free pair of shoes for some winners! I also love that you can get delicious craft beer at this event for $1 a pint and that all goes to charity! Let's face it, what other point is there to running than having a cold beer at the end. I can't imagine a better way to spend an otherwise boring Thursday night! All the runners are so friendly and it's so easy to meet new people and make new friends! I always recommend it to people who are new in town and this is Phoenix; there's always someone new in town ;-) My tip would be to register ahead of time to get an extra raffle ticket at check in. They also have this event at the Scottsdale store so that makes for 2 great Thursdays a month!

If you are looking for a traditional race or hoping to get a new PR, this is NOT the race for you…read more It's not a zen run, it is not a scenic run. It is crowded with walkers and people who probably never ran a day in their lives before. But as long as you keep in mind it is a novelty run, you'll have fun. I ran the 15k option. The event overall was well organized. The race started in waves (separated corrals based on expected pace). Pacers were available. Lots of aid stations, with water or sport drinks (often both), marshmallows, chocolate chips, and m&ms. In the end, you get a chocolate bar-shaped medal, then go to a tent to pick up a plastic bowl with goodies. Mine had a banana, pretzels, cookie sticks, Rice crisps, hot chocolate, and chocolate dip. All these things were packaged separately. As another reviewer mentioned, it was kinda hard to open them to dip them in the chocolate while standing up, so it would have been nice if there were tables available. But for me sitting on the ground was just fine. IMHO this run was a great value. For $65, I got a sweatshirt (actually of fairly decent quality), a fun run with friends, a medal, and snacks.

The updated digs for ASU Sun Devil Baseball are great. Its the perfect size. Its obvious they want to please because everyone is chill and laid back, and that Pro Em style of security was very welcome. grab a beer, some popcorn, a dog, even a great Ice cream cone. A big Devils win!!!! helped with the mood but over all, everyone was doing their job well. The grass was green, and the night lights bright.
