She greeted me warmly and attentively, and we made some small-but-meaningful chit-chat. Then, upon learning that she was out of my requested product, the owner proceeded to recommend an alternative and give me a free sample of it. Afterward, I left feeling quite satisfied, as if I'd bought exactly what I wanted, despite buying nothing at all. All in all, great service. Keep it up :)

It might be a rehearsed line, but it works to put you at ease and let you know that Ray isn't going to push you towards something you don't want. I stopped here to shop for a guy's weekend of sailing, drinking, and cards at the beach. I figured cigars would hasten the inevitable decline into a mellow stupor watching the ocean. Bonus points go to Ray for not letting me spend two bucks on a piece of crap cigar cutter because we were travel ling and didn't have one. He cut the cigars for us and laughed at the idea of me spending money on what he saw as an inferior, throwaway product. I ended up going with the same cigar that Ray says he smokes once per day.
