She was the main rep I worked with during my hardship and she was forward, stern, but also caring. She was informative and made sure I understood exactly what was happening and above all helpful and calm even when I wasn't. If she isn't already a manager, please promote her.

NEVER EVER LEASE with Southeast Toyota Finance (SETF). After 3 years of perfect payments (early…read morepayments every month) and paying off our lease early in a lump sum, including the $350 end-of-lease fee (which we don't know what that was for), SETF screwed us over. In January, we turned our vehicle back to our nearest Toyota Dealership as per their instructions since we moved out of state. We were told their inspection company couldn't visit us for 30 days, so they advised us to go to the nearest Toyota dealership. A Toyota representative inspected our vehicle. All paperwork was satisfied, signed, and documented with a Toyota rep on the phone while at the dealership. We thought all was good. 2 months later, here we are in March, and we learn through Credit Karma that there is an ADDITIONAL $1,100 OWED!!! We haven't received anything in the mail about this so it was happenstance that we came upon this news. We called SETF on 3/9/2026 and were informed that there was damage to the vehicle!! Keep in mind that we haven't had this vehicle in our possession since the beginning of January, when we turned it back to the dealership as SETF advised (and we got a text confirmation in January that we've satisfactorily paid the lease fee, which concluded our lease liability in January 2026). During the inspection from the Toyota dealership in January, the vehicle had absolutely no damage to it. Upon calling SETF on 3/9/26, we were told, " SETF is separate from any dealership, and the inspection was invalid." Then we were told that we were liable for $1,100. After explaining the situation to the representative several times, we could see that there was no way to fight these extortion fees. Remember, we turned this vehicle back into the Toyota dealer PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS, and 2 months later, we get an additional charge of $1,100. Ultimately, we paid the fee to put an end to this once and for all because how is the common man supposed to fight a giant corporation like Toyota? You can't. I will share my experiences with everyone I know and those I don't know. We will never buy another Toyota product due to their LACK OF ETHICS IN BUSINESS AND EXTORTION TACTICS! Thanks for nothing, Southeast Toyota Finance. It's no wonder you have a 1.6-star rating on the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE!! We purchased a 2017 Cadillac ATS. The radio did not work and we were…read morerepeatedly told during the test drive that ANYTHING wrong with the vehicle would be fixed by them. Let's discuss the financing really fast before we get into all of the issues with the vehicle. We were told we had a 13% interest rate. We got the paperwork MAILED TO US they would not give it to us there- and suprise we had a 29.99% interest rate. Wtf! When we discussed this with them on the phone after receiving the paperwork we were told that the interest rates were just high rn and to come back in 6 months to refinance and they promised it would be no issue to get us a lower interest rate. They also financed us through a predatory finance company called Santander which was not the one we were supposed to go through. They will literally finance you through whomever gives THEM the most money for the car and not what is best for you as the customer. We bought the car. The next morning-NOT EVEN 12 hours of having the vehicle the check engine light came on. I immediately called and since it was a Saturday I was told it would have to wait until MONDAY when the actual techs were in. Imagine my surprise when MONDAY morning I call the person that sold me the vehicle, Ryan whom during the purchasing said he would be there for us with this vehicle- told us that he just "sold the car" and that we would have to work with the maintenance dept to get it looked at. It took forever to get the car looked at. We had a previously scheduled appt for the radio. The radio was fixed- THATS THE ONLY DAMN THING EVER TOUCHED- while there we told them the light was on and we were having major issues with the car. The check engine light was on, the transmission was making a weird shutter, and the tires were making a weird noise. They refused to look at it and told us another appt would have to be made. Two weeks later we take the car to the appt for the check engine light. Come to find out it was a shutter system on the front of the car. They told us it was fixed and all they did was CLEAR THE CODE. The next morning I left for work and the light came back on.-surprise. We had also mentioned an issue/shutter with the transmission in the car. We took it back as the light was back on and told them about the transmission. They "reprogrammed" the active shutter system and said nothing was wrong with the transmission and they drove it and didn't feel the shutter. I had reset my mileage before dropping it off and they literally drove the car 3 miles. After leaving this appointment and yet again being told nothing was wrong the light came back on. I was extremely worried about my vehicle and was getting the run around from Skco and it was taking WEEKS to get any appt and nothing was being done so we took it to another shop. My back wheels were about to FALL OFF. The back axels were about to come out of the rear end. Every single bolt was loose and backed out. That was the big reason for the noise/vibrations we were feeling but Skco couldn't feel. We also had them look at the transmission so see about the shutter and Cadillac said the transmission was going out and we could flush it to try and help lessen the shutter- again Skco said nothing was wrong with the transmission. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON A CAR WE JUST PURCHASED. SKCO REFUSED TO ADMIT ANYTHING WAS WRONG AND GAVE US A CONTINUAL RUN AROUND. Fast forward a few months later the transmission fully went out and it was $7,800.00 to rebuild or $10,000 for a new transmission for a vehicle we financed at $18,000. I also had to stack the negative equity onto a new vehicle as I was stranded and was going to loose my job. The new company we bought the vehicle through has been a DREAM. I can call my sales associate for ANYTHING and he always answers and does anything he can do help. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MULLINAX FORD. Mr. James Hankins is absolutely an angel and will get you taken care of. I even have his personal cell phone number! Save yourself the trouble and do not purchase anything here.

We drove…read morealmost 100 miles to test drive a 2014 Honda Pilot, decided we liked it, our lender sent the paperwork to the dealership, "Big Al" said the title person was gone for today and he would email us anything we needed to sign in the morning, not to worry the vehicle was ours and wasn't going to be sold to anyone. The next day rolls around and we cannot get in touch with Al. Our lender cannot get in touch with Al. Finally later in the afternoon the lender gets in touch with him and he says he's going to get the paperwork (bill of sale and signed 30 day warranty guarantee) sent over which he doesn't do until the following day. We sign all necessary paperwork with the lender and call to let Al know they would be sending a check at the beginning of the week as he pushed back the paperwork until late Friday afternoon, we can't get him on the phone. Try to reach him again on Saturday and can't get him on the phone. Try to reach him again Monday and I'm sure you know how it goes at this point. The lender says they are sending a check out today. We call and can't get Al again so we call the dealership directly only to find out that they sold the car out from underneath us because Al claimed he had not heard from us or the lender and couldn't get in touch with us. Mind you I already purchased insurance for this vehicle which Geico is now charging me to cancel the policy on. Highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Would not recommend this dealer to absolutely anyone. You're better off taking your hard earned money somewhere else and spending it.
